Authentic Indian Curry House — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Tonight was a joke, we ordered at 6:45 pm on a Friday night for a pick up. They told us on the phone that it was going to be a 30-50 min wait, which we where okay with. Went down to collect the food at 7:30pm for them to say it will be a 5-10 min wait. After 30 mins go by I starting to get annoyed as it had been over a hour and a half waiting for the food, I asked how much longer it was going to be, they said 5 mins. At 9 pm I asked for a refund along with 5 other people who have been waiting longer than me. The manager was hiding at the back of the kitchen trying to avoid the angry people wanting for a refund, who have been waiting for well over 2 hours at this point. They gave us the refund after debating it for 15 mins, while half the staff left for the night.

To the owner…. Take responsibility for this poor...

Would not recommend ordering through Uber eats. I am generally forgiving with wait times as I know things often get missed, but with 10mins to the latest delivery time and my order still being prepared, i thought i should call & check. Unfortunately, my order was missed and they said it would be delivered in 15-20mins. I waited 30mins before calling again & was told they were waiting on a delivery driver & didnt know how long before i would get my order. at that point it had been over an hour since i ordered. I waited another 15mins and contacted Uber to cancel. Again, i understand if things are busy, but an hour and a half wait time with my order going cold waiting for a delivery driver to arrive 30mins late, this can not be considered...

Good food but never ever use them for deivery. Appalling experience tonight- placed a pre-order through Menulog before open, so I had to be one of the first orders. After waiting 15 mins past the scheduled delivery time I called them and instead of under promising and over delivering, the girl said the driver would leave in 10 mins (we are 5 mins away but the whole family has flu). 20 mins later, i call again and I’m told the delay is due to the driver doing some other deliveries in the area. It was about 45 mins past the scheduled delivery time when the driver arrived. Sorry, but 10% off my next order just...
