little elm Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

This cafe is definitely a hidden gem. The coffee was smooth, strong yet balanced and hot! I ordered a sausage roll from the food cabinet and it was delicious, it tasted home made. Much better than any other sausage roll I’ve had to be honest (including from Yatala Pies).

The owner and staff are all very friendly and provide excellent service. I was very impressed when I noticed how frequently they disinfect and wipe down all the tables. I know that it’s a requirement, but I’ve seen many places have long delays in just clearing dirty plates from their tables and neglect disinfecting all together!

The hollandaise sauce for the Benny eggs u can taste was not homemade and if it was it had no taste at all. I have went to many places for Benny eggs and this was the smallest blandest portion I have ever received I will not be back even though it is the closest cafe to my home. Give decent portions and make ur food tasty and I will be bringing everyone I know but until than they have a bad report from me even worse than coffee club ...noe that's bad. Don't waste ur money here. Oh and the iced coffee was hot it was literally a hot drink with abit of cold cream on top was the most disgusting drink Ive ever tryed. Will never be back unless they pick up...

Love this place! The staff are ALWAYS friendly, the food is great and the coffee,well, that's the real reason for this review. I've been out of the country for a number of years. When I left, a cup of international roast was considered the norm. Now, you can practically get an espresso outside a public toilet. It's EVERYWHERE!

The problem is, very few establishments take the time to make a coffee what it should be... A work of art. I don't know that the people at the Little Elm revere coffee as I do, but it consistently tastes great and that awesome little bit of shortbread they send it away with is...
