DO NOT DINE HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES.
The staff are completely incompetent and utterly unfazed about the near miss incident with my 1 year old. On ordering, I very strictly informed the staff member that my daughter is allergic to dairy, and to refrain from adding any butter/milk or any dairy products in our meals. We also ordered a babyccino on oat milk and I specifically requested no chocolate powder since this contains milk solids. These instructions were clear and concise and reiterated multiple times. The staff member nodded, read our order back to us, noting the no chocolate powder or dairy. The babycino came out with chocolate powder, and when it was sent back straight away, I again reminded the staff member that we strictly asked for no chocolate powder and are ALLERGIC to dairy. When our scrambled eggs arrived and the same staff member put the plate down in front of us, I asked again to confirm there was no dairy in this. She said “No, there’s no dairy”, walked away then hesitated and came back, picked up our plate and said sorry I’ll go check. ?!? Turns out the eggs were made with milk. What surprised me though was the complete and utter dismissal and indifference at how serious this could have been. No one seemed to care, there was no remorse and when we made a complaint at the counter, the guy’s excuse was “oh yeah, she’s new. Sorry.” Note to management - you should not be hiring staff that cannot follow basic instructions. This was pure negligence.
I understand that this is not an allergen free kitchen and there is risk of cross contamination but that is a calculated risk I have chosen to take and I have done my due diligence in letting you know what to avoid, there should also be responsibility on all staff to adhere to those instructions.
Besides this, our meals were dismal, portions were small and not worth what we paid given...
Read moreI love coming to this place, for many reasons, but first is the customer service, and second is the consistently tasty coffee at a great price.
This Cafe 63 has been beautifully designed and fitted out, bright, airy, warm and welcoming. The hanging plant look, the timber look floors, the table decor, and the outdoor eating area that looks onto a great kids area (my son love the water features), this is just to my taste.
Here's a tip - if you can be patient with the staff, offer a friendly smile, show them dignity and respect, then they will treat you like royalty, and I don’t know many places in Queensland that can match this consistently like the Cafe 63 franchise does - at New Farm, Fortitude Valley, West End, and Coomera, Paddington and more.
And before you rush to complain about whatever, as can be common in the hospitality game - I know, I’ve worked everywhere - remember one thing: these young people are literally selling their ‘life-time’ and serving you. THEY should be treated like royalty!
Thank you to all the Westfield Coomera Cafe 63 staff whom work hard, stress and sweat for our benefit, always greeting me kindly and showing me a seat where I can relax and enjoy study - and thank you also the kitchen staff who toil over hot stove tops for our benefit. Gratitude to you all, I hope management treats you like the gold...
Read moreCafe 63 Coomera is an utter disgrace, delivering a masterclass in incompetence and customer neglect. On Saturday, 5 July 2025, I placed an online order, paid in full, and was given a specific pickup time that evening. The website happily took my money and confirmed the order, so I drove to the cafe, only to find it completely shuttered—lights off, doors locked, not a soul in sight. It was a ghost town, with no signage or explanation for the closure. I called the listed phone number repeatedly, but it rang out with no voicemail option. Desperate, I tried the 1300 number, hoping for answers. Instead, I got a useless message-taking service who promised a callback that never came. After waiting in the car park for another half hour, I called again, only to learn they had no direct contact with the cafe and couldn’t help me get my order or a refund. What a shambles! This isn’t just poor service—it’s borderline fraudulent. Taking payment for an order they had no intention of fulfilling, with zero communication or accountability, is unacceptable. Cafe 63 Coomera clearly has no respect for its customers’ time or money. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being ripped off and...
