A restaurant that doesn't want to serve you? We ate here last night, walked out the movies and decided to try this place. We managed to catch a server as we were standing at the entrance. Inside or outside? as my mum had a broken foot and crutches we thought less distance would be the option and sit outside.. The server quickly brought us water (didn't say a word mind you) . That was as far as that went. We waited .... waited.... waited.. 10-15 min, no menus, nothing? We could see the the 3 tables inside who had people were being served but a whole lot of staff standing around.
We eventually noticed the app option. Went to order but it was glitching and not working correctly for any of our phones, so we sent someone in for menus. Got a menu ( off the tables no server helped with these either). Still no one came.
We went back in to get the attention of a bored staff member only to be told if you choose outside you don't get service you have to move inside....( not even you can order inside yourself, full stop they won't serve you) what? Thanks for letting us know the vital bit of info when we arrived. So we moved inside.. where we sat and sat... Finally someone showed up, not hi how are you, not any pleasantries, just "are you ready to order?," Placed our order.
Got our food which was fine. Nothing special. Fyi don't go mash it's the packet kind. Then paid. Which they charge you a service fee 🤣 the irony of it all,
If a company who have the audacity to start a chain of restaurants and charge a service fee.. for the way you intend to get customers to eat at your restaurant..... weird idea why don't you actually serve people? Especially when you place tables outside the establishment. We aren't talking a big distance from the counter either. Note the staff came in and out of the front several times right near us during the time we waited, so what gives?
Safe to say we will take our service...
Read moreDue to google telling us that this restaurant was open for service until midnight, we'd made a booking for 9:15pm for a late date night. We'd arrived at our booking time with an overwhelming guilt as the kitchen was in fact closed for the night and the last two waitresses were getting ready to close up and go home. However, one of the waitresses (did not happen to get her name unfortunately) was so incredibly accommodating as she'd quickly set us up a table and allowed us to skim the menu and decide what we wanted to eat. Unfortunately to nobody's fault but our own, the two meals we ordered were unavailable as again, the kitchen was closed. So we quickly changed our order and she smiled enthusiastically and dipped into the kitchen to place our order with the chefs. She then came back out with two complimentary giant pretzels (valued at $11 each) and said "these are on the house guys, we're very sorry" and left us to our entree with a big smile. We'd instantly felt a warmth from her, given that we also felt terrible for making everybody stay back just to accommodate for us. The pretzels were so fresh and absolutely delicious. Not long after our entree, our dinner had arrived and tasted absolutely beautiful. We ate in a timely fashion, and we'd caught our waitress on her way out to go home and tipped her some extra money to say thankyou for her beautiful service. Given the unfortunate circumstances, I couldn't have been happier with our decision to dine here and the only downfall would have to be the incorrect trading times provided by Google. Other than that, we can't wait to come back! Much thanks, Two very very...
Read moreWe recently had the misfortune of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was an utterly disappointing experience. We had booked an indoor table but were instead seated outdoors. This was just the start of a night that went downhill fast.
First, the drinks—both from the bar and through the app—took a staggering 15 minutes to arrive and were absolutely tasteless. The wings entrée was laughably small for the $20 price tag.
One of the main reasons we chose this restaurant was for a specific dish that was advertised on their website. Imagine our disappointment when we were told upon arrival that this dish was no longer served. This is false advertising and the website needs to be updated to accurately reflect the current offerings.
The wait for our main courses was nothing short of exasperating, taking over an hour to reach our table. When the meals finally arrived, we were met with more disappointment. The chips looked and tasted like they had been microwaved; they were undercooked and lacked any flavor. The chicken schnitzel was bland and uninspiring, and the parmi was as average as they come. The ‘half’ rack of ribs was more like a quarter, which felt like another slap in the face given the cost.
To top it all off, the dessert was grossly overpriced, ending the night on a sour note. Spending over $200 on this meal left us feeling very upset with the service we received.
I would not recommend this place to anyone and sincerely hope that they take these criticisms seriously to improve their offerings...
