I'm so disappointed and it pained me to give a 1 star review. I love this place, I used to come with my friends or partner, or having take away, even recommending the place to my friends. But mind you, if you're purchasing Groupon voucher, they gonna treat you like a second class citizen.
I bought a voucher one time, thinking I want to try their banquet option (usually I pay full price). I call that day, to make a booking for the night, because that day is the only day I can go out for dinner with my partner (voucher cant be used on weekends).
The guy picking up the phone said that I can make the booking online, which I tried before but the page wont load and i can't make a booking whatsoever (happened to couple of other groupon vouchers i had and usually the merchant allowed me to book direcly).
Then he continue to say that booking has to be made 24 hours prior. It's not stated in the voucher, so i don't know avout that and I ask if it's possible to allow us to use it for the night because it's the only night i can use it with my partner. He then continue said that I can actually just use it without booking, the one that need 24hr booking is the other voucher they had, an all you can eat (AYCE) one.
He asked me again if my voucher is AYCE or voucher or banquet and I said banquet. He then said again that I don't need to make a booking for banquet, I just need to come and show them the voucher. I repeat it again to make sure and confirming that I can just walk in with my voucher and he said yes, we'll see you tonight.
Well guess what. That night, I came with my partner, showing my voucher and got rejected, saying that I need to make a booking. I'm really getting tired of this, but I'm still trying to explain. The lady that greet us still reject us and she said she's the manager. She's just standing there, doing nothing, suggesting nothing, and just insisting that we cannot use our voucher that night despite of the fact that it's not our fault. One of her staff literally said that I can just walk in with my voucher to use it that night. She just grinning and just said sorry and yeah... we're actually have limited amount for banquet and it's fully booked tonight, while the restaurant is only 1/4 full, it's a joke.
In the end she seemed annoyed and told us that she can let us use the voucher but it's gonna take a long time for the food to arrive. I'm super embarrassed because i don't like making a scene and she treat me like a cheapskate who's looking for trouble. I said no and just find another restaurant and spend $100 there anyway. Because it's not about the money but about your customer service and how you train your staff. It's not even stated in the voucher about booking. So, be very careful when you have Groupon voucher, take note of the staff...

Read moreAbsolutely loved my experience here! I’ve tried countless dumpling spots across Australia, and this one easily stands out as a top favorite. The dumplings are freshly made, beautifully pleated, and every bite bursts with juicy flavor. I especially recommend the pork and chive ones—they have that perfect balance of savory and aromatic.
What surprised me most was the variety of options, including some creative fillings I haven’t seen elsewhere (the prawn/chicken was a delicious twist!). The chili oil and dipping sauce are clearly homemade, and they really take the whole experience up a notch.
The staff were warm and attentive, even when the place was busy. They checked in just the right amount and were happy to recommend their specialties. Plus, the vibe in the shop is super cozy—simple decor, but everything feels so inviting. I brought a couple of friends along, and they were equally impressed!
Definitely coming back soon, either for a casual lunch or a late-night dumpling fix. Thank you for making us feel so welcome—it truly felt like a taste of home away from...
