Currumbin Hotel — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

If I could rate no stars I would... Absolutely rude staff, we did not feel welcome at all. Firstly my partner and I went into the gaming room and waited at least 5 minutes for a pay out so then we decided to go up to the counter and everyone walked past and completely ignored us... Finally we got the pay out then decided to head upstairs to get a meal and hoping for a warm welcome which we did not get, we were not greeted by anyone so we went to the bar and asked for menus as we were very confused how the place worked as it was our first time there, no one spoke a word just looked at us, went and grabbed the menus then when passing the menus pretty much just got them thrown into my hands by the rude attendant who had grabbed them. Not a SINGLE word was said to us, very arrogant. We decided to go back down the gaming room and got another pay out then was not asked for a signature on the legal document, worst pub we have been to so far and we have been to some crappy pubs. Definitely will not be...

Thought we found our new local. Been going for about 3 mths after being unhappy with the RSL meals. First few times were great, the we noticed a real decline in the service. Food still good though, so kept going back.

Got take away on father's day, service was really frigging rude. I have had rude servicd in tthe past, we all have, bjt this place, WOW!! NEXT LEVEL!

3 out of the 6 meals were undercooked, one was raw.

We contacted via email. The response we got was pretty much like the service received. No accountable and didnt even care, ended the email with 'we hope it won't effect you coming back, but we understand'.

I always try and find the good in a place and base my reveiw off that.

Based on the service and attitude of some staff (not all), we will be spending our money elsewhere and will not be going back.

They do put on a good feed, but weighing that up against our last experience, I would recommend driving right on past this place.

So disappointed...

It’s all renovated and everything but the kitchen is lacking and the one staff member in particular is really rude. There was 4-6 people in there when I first showed up, out of my group of 6 I was first to order a schnitzel and chips, and after a 25 minute wait I received a pink schnitzel, I took a few bites until I realised it was really uncooked. My friend returned it and told them it was uncooked. The rude staff member was telling me it wasn’t really that pink and I ate half of it and there’s like 30 people now so the kitchens really busy I’ll just refund you.
