What an utter disappointment taking my interstate guests to Dust Temple. Fabulous eclectic atmosphere yet service horrific. The QR code ordering system advised food would be 20 mins. Okay no problem. Food took over 45 mins and the ATTITUDE from the female waitress when I went to POLITELY ask about our order was unbelievable- her ATTITUDE was filled with disdain and I was made to feel like I was asking something particularly unreasonable. One of my guests advised he had ordered a milkshake, which did not arrive when coffees came. SO, I went to get some water for the table & to advise the staff not to miss the milkshake from our order. AGAIN, this was received with ATTITUDE. When the food did finally arrive, my guest POLITELY asked why the delay and was advised the online ordering system sometimes plays up & misses orders. Well it didn't miss some of the drinks, nor did it miss the other two tables that ordered after us, so I'm sorry but that excuse does not fly. Also, if you do indeed have an issue with online ordering, let your patrons know AND how about checking about our order when delivering the coffees? This waitress then proceeded to accuse my guest of speaking to her badly. WOW. You are in the wrong job luv if you consider a polite question that way. My guest was NOT RUDE, LOUD OR DEMANDING, he just asked why the delay. Clearly you were in the wrong and decided to be on the defensive instead of respectfully and graciously correcting the issue. Note there was no offer of compensation, free drink OR an APOLOGY. Staff have zero care factor. Very embarrassing...

What an amazing COLLECTIVE of all things from different time periods. I only discovered this place today all thanks to rideshare and dropping off a staff member, but I am so glad I did this trip because I got to explore this wanderlust cafe. Love the layout of the cafe, the art, the sculptures, thank you for choose delicious coffee beans because my double shot picillo was off the chain delicious. I admired the wonderful selection of treats and pastries on display. This cafe is so deceiving from the front because if I hadn't gone and take a tour of the whole establishment I wouldn't have found all the wonderful collectables on display. Even though I was only there for a short period of time, I will return and I've be recommending it to people all day because I can and because I had a great experience that was carried through out my whole day.. amazing place seriously, you have to drop in and create your own...

It pays to know a local! Dust Temple was introduced to us by family who are kucky enough to live nearby. Dust Temple has a fun art gallery setting that is filled with sculptures, paintings and sketches. The decor has a retro aesthetic and gives the place a comforting vibe. Visitors have the choice of coffee, snacks, meals, and can go to the bar that has amazing cocktails. In short, we love the food, the coffee, and the cocktails on offer. We go for a late brunch, hang around for a cocktail, and then go to the beach. All of their staff are amazing at their jobs and clearly enjoy being around their customers. Visit Dust Temple the next time you are on the Gold Coast. You will love it!

I went to Dust Temple with extended family at their suggestion. It's a lovely spacious precinct that wonderfully juxtaposes food culture with music and pop art, sculpture, some older styles of portrait, and flower arrangement, but to mention a few. We all had drinks and smoothies as it was before lunch, but I got a glimpse of the food, which looked very appetising and visually splendid. The staff were consistently lovely people who all seemed attentive and gentle souls. As for the music, it was a mix of jazz genres - some of the artists were Sais, Greg Goat, and Hedron - very enjoyable listening given the aesthetic. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back again.
