I saw some great reviews on Google so I thought we would head there for a nice lunch picnic. Loud music and a shy member of staff meant we almost left without dad's pulled pork burrito, but I checked and he went back. Unfortunately I was off to a bad start with my "chicken and mushroom" pie, which ended up being all white sauce with some carrot and mushrooms. Zero chicken. Apparently with their large batches, some can miss getting meat in them? Why? šŸ¤” Update: ordered two beef and Guiness pies to take away, and one of them was a chicken and mushroom pie, which also had no chicken. Very frustrating. Mum and dad enjoyed their pulled pork burrito and cheese and ham baguette. The coffee wasn't strong enough. Later on we tried the custard and Bueno donuts, which didn't have enough filling inside them for the amount of bread there was, so most of mine went to waste. Smaller donuts with more filling would be better, as there was just a small strip in the middle where the filling was. The cheese and Vegemite croissant had very little flavour and had a huge air bubble in the middle. Overall, I definitely wouldn't revisit this place. Mum and dad enjoyed what they had but I don't really think they would return either. A nice little drive and a quaint area with lovely water views, but that's where it stops for this road trip. Thanks, Fuel Bakehouse...

I’ve never come across a place like this. Absolutely nailed it in every aspect. Some places specialise coffe or in pies and sausage rolls, others in sandwiches or croissants.. this place does EVERYTHING and they do it so well with a vibe to boot! I especially love the pies, which are nice and deep and full of proper steak. Also the croissants were buttery and flaky some of the best of ever had. My one regret is not trying the Vegemite and cheese croissant. It looked awesome! I’ll be there for sure

Funky little cafe/bakery which is also a wholesaler bakery. Honestly, everything looks delicious. Range of standard fare (wraps, pies, sausage rolls) and patisserie items (croissants, Danish, Snicker's tarts). Coffee, a soft serve ice cream machine (for thick shakes or ice cream). Since it's an industrial bakery there's a window showing the action out the back in the kitchen which is pretty cool. Unfortunately parking is sparse with 4x15min spots out front which you'll be lucky to snavel.

In town visiting my son, who is attending a nearby sports academy this year, and wanted to make an embarrassing fuss of him for his bday. Needing to cater for an unknown number, I asked if the slices I purchased could all be cut into quarters. The truly marvellous woman serving me not only happily obliged but made me feel like a total genius for making such a fiddly request! And wrote ā€œHappy Birthdayā€ on the boxes 🄰Totally delightful staff all round and my son and I returned this morning for breakfast and school lunch, and even more marvellousness and delightful service, atmosphere. The most beautiful croissants, great coffee and fabbo iced tea. And the cut up slices? An absolute hit with this school mates, with ā€œbest everā€ being the general consensus. I’m going to pretend they meant me as a mum 😜 and pass on that exact same sentiment to the truly excellent team and foodie fuel of the...

Need catering?? Don't even think of going anywhere else, 5 Stars just isn't enough to express how AMAZING the catering is from Fuel Bakehouse!! Sarah Taylor is who you'll deal with - and again, 5 Stars just isn't enough. Her qualifications in (and passion for) nutrition and food show in her ability to cater to ANY dietary requirements - there's literally nothing she can't achieve (pretty sure she went to Hogwarts). Her extremely reliable and prompt communication, coupled with her willingness and excitement to get it all perfect, is unmatched. I've organised countless corporate events across the country and my only complaint is that I can't rely on Sarah and Fuel Bakehouse for ALL of them!! I can honestly say, NO-ONE DOES IT BETTER!! And on top of the stellar service from Sarah, the foooooood ... OMG the food ... Fuel Bakehouse catering is the best!!! 100/100!! Bravo Sarah & the team at...
