The location itself is beautiful, which is the reason we have been there many times.

Unfortunately, it seems like there has been a change of management/concept. It’s a shame that the service standard have been lowered to self seating and ordering. I noted in a response that the owner says it’s to keep prices down with the rising prices of produce, which is fair enough. Good service would have helped a lot when there is issues, like we experienced; matcha latte was clumpy and bitter, food was delivered with items missing and somewhat cold- while trying to raise the concern, it seems like staff was avoiding us. When we were able to get ahold of someone after a couple of attempts, they went to the kitchen, and came back with something that looked like coleslaw, rather then the pickled cabbage that was supposed to go with the dish. Which was why I ordered the dish, thinking it would help round out the flavours of the fried chicken and waffle. It ended up being a pretty bland dish, especially considering the price point. Our other order of a fish based dish with fries was also rather underwhelming.

It’s just a bit disappointing when we used to have such a good experience at this place. We would also have loved to approach the staff with the concerns, but as stated, they seemed pretty unapproachable. Nobody came to check up after the food was served either, which to me, seems like they could be aware of these issues, and don’t want to deal with potential feedback.

Saltly avocado, salty mushrooms. I asked to the waitress if it was possible to change the avocado, o the mushroom, so I can eat the plate and balance the salt. I didn't want they put the food on the rubbish. She said, that the avocado and the mushroom are premade, and they can't change it, but may could change the avocado for the real one, without salt. Cool, I just wait for my plate with real avocado, same mushrooms, same eggs, no problem, but the new plate was the same, salty premade avocado, mushroom, impossible to eat.

I ask to pay for only the 2 eggs which it's all that I ate. They said yes, cool! I asked for the invoice, but they charged me 24 aud. I ask again, how much do you charge for 2 eggs?, 12 aud. Ok, 12 aud for 2 eggs, and I get the refund.

Check the bottle of water, because our bottle was dirty inside :(

My wife and I went for Breakfast on Sunday and I have to admit I have never encountered service this poor. I appreciate this establishment is newly opened and the staff all relatively new however I can only describe the service as chaotic, lacklustre and almost comedic in how poor it was. When we we're seated it took 25 mins to provide us menus, when we finally got the menus, we only got one and had to share it, another 15 mins past before anyone returned and took our order. 55 mins past and we still never even had our coffee's, after 3 follow ups (they forgot to check every time we asked) a waitress finally came back and said 'yeah we haven't made them yet, you still want them?' lol!!. Our food came out first (well over an hour) we were long finished then our coffee finally arrived, which by this point we were just well and truly over it. Between all of this, food was going to wrong tables, drink orders were getting sent back and the staff looked completely lost and confused. When we asked for the bill to pay, this took a further 20 mins and another 3 follow up's so we could just pay and leave. The food was pleasant, however would perhaps wait until this place iron's out it's service and delivery issues. Much better alternative options for breakfast, where you don't have to wait 2hr 30 mins for bacon and eggs. Couldn't recommend based on...
