I've come here a few times and it's been pretty good every visit.
The first time I came I had a Small Automic bomb (basically chicken and chips snack pack). It was descent, though a bit expensive. I did love the chips though, perfect mix of crunchy and soft.
The next time I came just for their nuggets, and added bbq sauce. The chicken nuggets were amazing. Loved them. A
The next time I came I tried their fish and chips, and their nuggets again. But this time the nuggets seemed pretty ordinary. The BBQ bottle was gone, only the tomato was left. And while they couldn't seem to find the bottle, they were kind enough to still get me some bbq sauce. The fish I was a little disappointed to find the skin was still on it. I had to peel the batter off to get it off myself. The tartare also seemed rather watery. The chips were a lot harder and crunchier this time, and while the lemon helped with some, it certainly didn't help all.
My last visit today I grabbed their chicken schnitzel and chips. It's a damn good schnitzel, nice and hot. The bbq sauce bottle was still missing, so I asked if I could have some of their sweet chili. I was so delighted.    Read moreI went to fat chicken which l have not been in a while, l remembered the crunchy chips and nice chicken so thought satisfy the craving. 1st problem, 3 people working behind the counter, only 2 people waiting for food, it took no kidding around 8 minutes before l even got an acknowledgment from the young blonde girl after the guy printed her. Ok, l love with that. I did order the 1/4 chicken leg and chips, asked easy on the salt and viewed a dodgy leg 1/4 of chicken with no skin looking dry and asked if l could possibly have a different quarter as that done looks dry without skin, fine, no worries was the girls reply. Sure enough l was called and girl handed me my order and if l went. 1st thing l noticed the chicken must be down the bottom because now than usual amount of chips were on the top. I got home took the cops off the top and guess what l am blessed with, correct, the dodgy piece of dry chicken without the skin. I just remembered the girls smirk when she handed the food to me and it all made sense. So, that's my story, and if the owner reads this please feel free to respond to me as you will know who l am and think it's important for you to know how your business is being run without your presence. They used to be fat and really delicious fluffy potato inside but now they are thinner and were over cooked and not moorish. The barramundi tasted ok but was clearly cooked from frozen and 1/3rd of it was just batter at end. The calamari was rubbery(also could not eat), the pineapple fritter tasted yum but could do with a bit more batter as it was not crunchy at all, so essentially just a piece of canned pineapple for $2.20, and the Caesar salad was delicious but the small size is DEFINITELY small for $5.90 or whatever it was (it was more than said on menu online)I was expecting more than a handful of iceberg lettuce. For almost $30 I feel it was not satisfying or value for money. It was super super busy so maybe just an off day.
