Fast, Friendly and Amazing Food! Run by Jan and (I can't remember her husband's name), they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Every customer they had was treated with respect and courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. My husband took me here for breakfast on Saturday morning and we were given a wonderful table and the coffee was fantastic! The breakfasts were big portions, and delivered fairly quickly. Incredibly kid friendly and we watched in amusement as the little girl next to us was treated to a baby chino. Great for groups to visit and the cost was in line with all other cafes in the area. Take a look around at all the paraphernalia and knick knacks - it's really interesting and lends itself to the charm of the cafe. We will definitely be back - in fact hubby went back on Monday as he cycled through - and was immediately given a cold water before he even ordered! Definitely a 5 star rating for this one! Thanks guys! :)

I regularly stop in here for coffee and occasionally breakfast. The staff are friendly and engaging. The coffee is great tasting and smooth. The meals that I have had a delicious and I highly recommend their menu which is reasonably priced. The store has a fabulous old time theme with a couple of walls dedicated to displaying older products that we would have been familiar with during our childhoods. They also have a coffee 'pay it forward' system which is a great initiative to help out those in need. There is outdoor and indoor seating and being a cyclist I have been made more than welcome. They have a coffee rewards card for the regulars.

Good little cafe their specials are worth while around $17 but $26 for bacon eggs or big breakfast is a little steep for what you get ..coffee are good size and it's an old world style interior. Cakes are delicious just could be a little bigger slices and the acai selection is good . Need to have more kids offerings or specials say coffee and scones for $7 etc as an example. Missing out on the older gen or mother's market as there is good competition around near by .

Dear owners Please look into your staff. They very young girls who have no idea of hospitality. Yesterday, Saturday, 24/05/15. Around 12.30 pm I walked in to have a lunch. I sit inside in the nice white area. There were another two tables busy. I ordered an egg Benny with salmon as it is my favourite. I ve never seen or tasted such a poor quality egg benny. The bread was usual bread from the shop. The salmon was everage quality and the were no hollandaise souse in it or a tiny amount I even haven’t noticed it. Disappointing to pay $22 for a $3 dollar produce cooked poorly. Secondly, the elderly couple sitting in Deon of me were force to leave as young girl can and started to mop around their table and in front of my table while I was eating. The couple made a complaint about not finishing and girl cleaning while they are still were sitting at the table. I choose not to let it upset me as I was eating. When couple got up and left in disbelief the young girls stopped moping and gone into the kitchen. Then she came to pick my plate up and grab my still untouched glass and water to take away. I asked her if they were closing but she reply not , at 2pm so I asked can I have my glass and water back. There still were 30 min until closure but multiple young girls at the cafe could not wait to leave the working place and were very ignorant of the clients. I definitely will never be back and will tel other to avoid this place. Please discipline your stuff or pay them better. They are totally unmotivated to be there. Your businesses will die...

I used to come here regularly on my way up to Brisbane, however, on this visit I found it so lacklustre that I won’t bother again. The service was good: prompt and courteous, however, the food was a bit worse than ordinary. We had ordered standard cafe fare which is usually really reliable but in this case was not. The burger was in pieces and the chips were overcooked and unsalted, the salt in the grinders was so damp that nothing was grinding. The fish was overcooked and dry and the salad was soggy and some leaves were definitely on the way out. The drinks were fine, tea, coffee and juice. The ambience has gone downhill due to the road being a lot busier and the plants which previously separated the cafe seating from the road being removed. All in all, it was sufficiently disappointing to make me decide to find a new cafe for a stopover, and also to actually write a review. Once again, the serving staff were fine, it is the food that has...

Waited an hour for soup, scrambled eggs and a coffee. We sat outside, waited 30 minutes before going to check on our order. They had made the coffee but couldn't find our table. There is a massive seating area around the back so naturally, you'd check the tables out there if you were bringing an order. So the coffee was left on the counter. They made another one, but it was the wrong size, I ordered a large and she came out with a small. So they then brought out a takeaway cup (I ordered a mug) with coffee in it about an inch from the top, obviously just tipping the small coffee into the bigger cup. It was busy, however being a Saturday morning in the school holidays you'd think they would have more staff on. Our order was simple and required minimal preparation so I'm really agast that it took an HOUR to get to us. The soup, curried pumpkin was so bland, I'm sure if was out of a can. We've been here twice and this will be...
