Lakeside — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Bond students collectively strongly dislike Lakeside. Their food is priced the same as a medium range restaurant with significantly worse quality. It's $9 for three chicken nuggets. And $12 for a lemon bar dessert the size of your pinky finger.

People only eat here because they are forced to purchase a dining card.

Last week I ordered a smoothie that had several chunks of plastic in it. If you have food allergies, you're out of luck. My friends who are deathly allergic to nuts have eaten nuts from here because the Lakeside staff didn't label items in the buffet correctly.

The food takes ridiculously long. I've waited 45 minutes for toast (literally plain bread) and then they refused to give me butter that I paid for that comes with the toast. What scammers.

It's also not uncommon for Lakeside to "misplace" your order. Several times, I've waited for a full hour after ordering and find out they forgot about my order. Even after checking up on it several times.

Additionally, they never serve you the correct food that they display on their menu. For example, the Eggs Benedict on the menu says it comes with 3 hash browns. I've only ever received one despite ordering it a...

Lakeside wasn’t good to begin with but somehow it’s getting worse. You’d think if you’re paying over $100k for tuition you could expect decent food options on campus, but it’s all trash. Don’t be surprised if your food takes 30+ minutes, with no explanation or apology. Wouldn’t recommend ordering eggs unless you’re cool with mould. Pictured is the souvlaki salad, which took almost 40 minutes to come out. Honestly Bond, do better. The student body collectively hates Lakeside.
