Amazing cafe! It looks lovely inside and being a bit of an introvert myself it was nice to have a few quite dining areas where we could just chill and chat. The staff are super friendly!! I used to work as a chef, and a good indicator if a business has a great owner is by going off how happy the staff are, so kudos to all it really is a great place. Food and coffee were fantastic as well I also just want to say thanks to whoever paid it forward for us. I've never had that before and it was an awesome surprise! I came here with my two boys and we recently found out our rental is being sold so have been pretty tight with money and stressed... but I wanted to take them out for a nice brekky as a treat for their great report cards. It was super generous of you and I'm really greatful! You pretty much covered most of my bill and I was kind of lost for words and didn't know how to respond, but it made such an impact to my morning. If you happen to see this, or if the owner can pass on my thanks if you know who it was that would be amazing😊. Thank you!!!!

Lil-ego Café in Ormeau is a hidden gem. I love their decor, food, and coffee. I went for lunch with friends, and everyone was happy with their meals. I can't wait to visit again!

Food was good and staff were very friendly. Although if you have young children I would avoid this cafe. They have a garden room which has books and toys for children and turf on the floor, assuming so the floor is softer and more kid friendly? Although this space is extremely dirty, all toys/books are covered in dirt and appear to not have been cleaned ever; my son’s feet were black after our visit. I gave feedback to Donna who did not take this well, when stating the turf would be better removed so that the floor could be cleaned regularly, she advised that it’s sufficiently cleaned by vacuum once a week and that children should wear shoes incase there is broken glass and that toys are cleaned regularly.. please see attached photos of clean toys
if you don’t have children, I’d say this would be a great place to visit, unfortunately for us, it was gross!

After we planned on stopping at the service centre close by but decided to move on because it was so ridiculously busy, we decided to pop into Noego Cafe instead, and what a wonderful decision that was!

The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and were genuinely interested in having a conversation with us. There was a nice variety of food and it was prepared quickly and neatly.

We also grabbed a bag of freshly baked coffee beans and bottles of water while we were there as well.

The food was very delicious and so was the coffee, and was prepared so that it could be easily eaten in the car. The only negative is that my boyfriend was enjoying the food so much that he bit his tongue so hard it bled in two places - although I don't think that was inherently the cafe's fault lol!

We will definitely be stopping there again on our future roadtrips, it was just lovely - and nice and close to the...
