A Hidden gem! A small unassuming sushi place (sushi train) which is quickly becoming one of my fav sushi places to dine at with family. Away from the bustle of other super busy areas, it’s tucked away in a random quiet spot amongst other small takeaway eateries. The inside is quite small so not suitable for big groups however the service is really attentive and they serve food promptly and in a timely manner. The Karaage is on point, cooked to perfection and I love that they give generous amounts of mayo upon request! The Salmon Nigiri is my favourite. I’ve also tried the spring rolls (not too bad) the gyozas are beautiful and tasty - love the fried version 🤣and the dim sims are also pretty good. Their sushi is made fresh and the service is friendly. It’s also pretty good value for money in my opinion. Casual, no fuss dining suitable for the whole family! Highly recommend.

Hidden Gem. I have lived here since 2009 and never found good sushi until this place. I love that there is more filling than rice in the sushi rolls. (Most places make it more rice with small amount of fillings)The chicken was tender (not dry, over cooked or chewy). The rolls didn't fall apart when you eat them. The salmon was soft and tender with no chewy parts. While it is pricey i don't care as its quality was well worth it. Staff all super friendly and it gets busy so you can preorder and pick up, have delivered or eat in. Also fabulous vegetarian options.

Was an okay experience. Ordered the spicy pork on rice dish. I felt like the pork was a little too chewy for my liking. Meal came with a can of soft drink of your own choice which was nice. It was average overall for me. Reading the other reviews, perhaps I should try their sushi, which seems to be they are renowned for.

I am being generous with my rating because I have ordered via UberEats from Mr Sushi Ashmore a lot and they always delivered. I have left plenty of 5 star ratings for this place on UberEats.

Unfortunately, this time I received the order & half way through eating it, we found a cockroach just sitting there.

Can’t figure out how the cooks didn’t catch this whilst cutting the sushi & placing it into the containers.

I hope the owners see this & ensure they clean up their restaurant and get pest control because I would like to order from here again but finding this insect in our food has put a sour taste in our mouths.

EDIT: I have removed the image as to not deter future customers. However, it appears the owners of the store believe I have made a mistake of where the insect came from. Possibly thinking this photo was manipulated as they referred to the way the insect was positioned. I don’t know what to say other than my truth. Whilst eating, this insect was found on our sushi. It was already dead on the sushi. It may have come from the bag or the containers which inspection can easily miss. Either way, I understand the store believes they’re meeting hygiene standards but small insects can...

12 diners and was told a 20 minute wait ,42 minutes later the food arrived terrible service , food may be good don't know , but if you want to wait then this is the place for you , not recommended. Just to clarify after your response the waitress advised maybe 20 minute wait. I asked for 18 as we had engagement, I walked inat 7.19 pm I walked out at 19.50 by your accounts not mine , if it wasnt 42 I apologise but seriously to be delayed on a majority of preplated food is not right. Focus was on service indoor, was not at take aways as customers were all waiting considerable amount of time, don't tell customers 15 , 20 , 30 minutes if you cannot meet your obligation. Online ordering does, not speed up the service time of your production you still have to wait regardless. Considering half the mealswere taken off plates on the train going around and the chicken katsus took forever to be processed. If you believe the 8 staff met all requirements and your happy with having customers wait I can see why this venue continually changes hands ,thank you for your response have...
