Located on Southport Nerang Road. Between Ashmore City & The Pit Stop. Had a Much better experience this time. The service was Good & the Presentation and Taste of the Food was Much Improved. Had the Chilli Szechuan Beef with Fried Rice. Was Nicely Presented. Could have been a bit Spicier. But other than that, All Good. Previously Rated 3 Stars,(& that was probably being generous). See previous Review below. Fairly Average Chinese Restaurant To Be Honest. A Typical Sweet and Sour Pork, With What Looked & Tasted Like Reheated Fried Rice. Served By An Uninspired "Waitress", (Really Stretching it, Referring to this young Australian girl as a Waitress). Seemed Like She Would Rather Be ANYWHERE Else. Spark Up Princess, You're Letting The Side Down!!

Uber eats - driver went to collect after 30mins but left to get another pickup before going back to collect ours as they weren’t ready. Overall food was good. Chilli beef container was only half full but had good flavour. Sauce was overly thick. Singapore noodles were awesome. Garlic chicken was very garlicky, possible too much but was still nice. Large fried rice was ok, had way too much soy though. Massive pieces of beef and chicken, too big to fit in your mouth without using a knife to cut first.

I honestly don’t understand why this place has such a low rating. For me, it’s the best Chinese restaurant on the Gold Coast. I ordered sweet and sour pork, honey chicken, fried rice, Mongolian beef, and prawn crackers — everything was delicious. Many Chinese restaurants tend to have that heavy oily smell, but this one was completely different. The food was clean, balanced, and not too salty or greasy. I really enjoyed every dish and hope this restaurant stays open for a long time.

We have lived in the area for 15+ years and have eaten food from this restaurant for a long time where the quality and portions have always been fresh and good. The owners have changed a few times which we remember but we haven’t gone for quite some time recently so unsure of whose managing the restaurant now. today we ordered wonton soup and fried rice. The fried rice honestly tasted like it was a week old, dry, stale and had limited ingredients. The wonton soup was very salty and the broth had no other flavour so just like salty water nothing like previous times we have ordered. We then called and told them about the order and they insisted all food is made fresh and to bring it back so they could look at it. Lucky we are in the area but driving up and down just over simple items is frustrating. My daughter had to go take it back as theres a baby in the house and its frantic this time so I couldn’t go myself and she forgot the meal so then had to drive back again as they insisted we bring the food back to look at . then she gets there to the counter and the manager or whomever it was, was very rude said we could not have a refund only a replacement ( why would we want another plate of poor quality food) then after some convincing we finally got a refund for the rice. Just seems like a lot of effort to put customers through driving back twice to show a plate of food and arguing about refunds when we are long term customers and realistically its just two small items. So yeah we will...

My family and I visited tonight for dinner and we’re left extremely disappointed with the overall experience. We have previously been regulars to Shang court and were more than impressed each time with service and meals but tonight’s experience left much to be desired. Apparently the last owners had gone back to China so two young female employees and a older female were on the floor. It may have been their first night but both of the younger employees were very confused, inattentive and did not seem to know their menu or restaurant. Which is to no fault of their own but the whole evening was in shambles. All tables had their ordered messed up while we sat in. Our entrees were delivered one at time even though we ordered them at the same time and one of them was completely wrong, our meals were delivered to three different tables before they got it right and other tables experience the same. And we were wrongly over charged over $45 extra as the staff did not know menu items or their pricing. Seemed like they only had one chef, and a line out the door and non stop phone calls they couldn’t keep up with. The food tastes had completely gone down and did not resemble our previous experiences one bit. So definitely disappointed with our experience...

Ordered via Uber Eats…. Hands down the worst Chinese Ive ever had, here or throughout the world, hands down worst fried rice I’ve ever had… some ham, peas and soy sauce, lots of white hard rice, couldn’t eat… nothing authentic or tasty about it, token shrimps on large fried rice were as flavourless as the rice and much worse than what I make at home…. Extremely thick coating on honey chicken…. Entrees all fried to the point of being dark brown, impossible to chew, very, very overcooked…. The only edible part was the veg and chicken between 4 o f us, couldn’t eat rice, not burnt entrees, not watery weird tasting satay sauce… legit $75 wasted, least traditional Chinese meal I’ve ever had in 42 years…. If you can’t cook a decent Chinese fried rice you have no business running a Chinese restaurant. This was a big splurge for us because I was sick and almost all of it except the chicken & veg had to be thrown out, even greasy, oil saturated (oil clearly wasn’t hot enough) prawn chips were inedible. Had to make our own plain rice to compensate. Never again. Order anywhere else, I implore you or cook better quality at home for a fraction...
