Nook Espresso — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Wont recommend!

The girl who I assume is the barista, took my order really quick and started making my coffee but just as she finished heating the milk there was another customer waiting to order. So just to attend to the new customer, she just left the heated milk as is and started taking their order which took a long time and by the time it was done, the milk she had heated for my coffee obviously had gotten cold in this cold weather. The coffee shot had also gotten cold. So instead of replacing everything to make a fresh new hot coffee, she just poured the cold milk over the cold coffee shot and gave it to me without any care. I was on my break and was getting late to get back to work so I didn’t have the time to tell her anything because she was pretty slow and would have taken another 10 minutes to make a new coffee. I had to get back and reheat the coffee to be able to drink it in this cold weather.

I am surprised how she didn’t care at all and I am really disappointed by this kind of a service at a cafe in such...

First time going to this cafe - I didn’t rate their customer service. After I placed my order the one staff member who took my order said to the other “speak louder” implying I wasn’t speaking loud enough because the grinder was running while I was placing my order. She could have told me that to my face when I was ordering instead of talking about me as if I wasn’t still standing right in front of them. Coffee...
