Ormeau Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Ordered by phone. Ended up with the wrong order even though my order was repeated back correctly twice. Collected order and again it was repeated back correctly. When I got home realised it was wrong. That's fine accidents happen but the cop out was the manager wouldn't get on the phone and had the girl on the counter repeat what she wanted said. Manager said she put the order in the bag and it was right, wouldn't get on the phone even when I asked. Pissed me off she got a teenager who's not responsible for dealing with these mistakes to do it. Felt sorry for the young lady. I could hear every word the manager said. Poor service and managerial skills, we won't be back. Food was actually OK. Would probably give it a 3 but for the abysmal customer...

I’ve just left this restaurant in tears. If I could rate 0 starts I would. We ordered $110 worth of food last night, 3 of the dishes were completely inedible and disgusting. The others, not great but acceptable. Call to complain and after 20 mins of discussing she tells me to go and get a refund for the particular items on the following day. I go there tonight and I am verbally attacked by 4 staff members, made to feel intimidated and scared for simply telling them their food was not of acceptable standard and to collect some money back as I was told I would receive as I didn’t want to accept the offer of remaking them. Then they proceed to yell and scream in their language while I’m standing there and can’t understand a word. Horrible...

We had delivery. The order was incomplete, and as this was very common from every other delivery we knew what to do..... call the restaurant. The restaurant simply didn't care, the attitude stank. We were arrogantly offered a credit note, as if we were planning on reordering from this restaurant which seemed to be overjoyed at our loss. We paid $180 and had 5 containers sitting on the bench.....yes, I'm bloody pissed! Never again will I be using a home delivery service, nor will i be a patron of Ormeau Chinese Restaurant. I'm done.
