Tucked away in a rather stark and industrial part of town, this bakery and cafe is the kind of place you’d never expect to find, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. From the outside, it blends into its surroundings, but step inside and you’re welcomed by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. At the back of the cafe, a large glass window gives you a full view into the bakery itself, where you can watch the team hard at work crafting each loaf and pastry by hand. It adds a sense of transparency and connection that you don’t often find. It was moderately busy on a weekday, which made it a perfect spot to relax, but I can imagine weekends being quite a bit livelier. All in all, it truly feels like a hidden gem worth discovering.

What a cool place in the industrial area of 2nd Feb 2025, came in again with Mum and our little dog , they have moved location and it’s much better however I was sorry to see the Rubin Sandwich was gone and the menu was quite limited . However we had a sandwich from the window and two coffees, service was still quick and friendly Currumbin Waters, fast service and tasty food, we had the scrambled egg roll and ham and cheese croissant, both were toasted and we had a couple of lattes, sat under umbrellas and lucky for us we were out of the rain. Monday morning at 9.30 am, we will be back, well done team. A little water bowl for our dog was appreciated.

It is like a dream place for someone who is a big fan of bread and pastries like me! On entering this bakery, I was so excited and walked around to see each bread and pasries. I took long time to choose, I eventually ordered oomite cheese scroll, my favourite pastry, a kouign amann and a large cup of matcha latte. They both were comfortably flacky, and their kouign amann is not too sweet. The lemon on top was a good accent. I regretted that I forgot buying some bread home. I will definetly come back to try more soon! ※ Note : charging 10% of Sunday surcharge

This place was packed! We’re visiting from overseas and needed a place to kill time while we waited for our rental car to be ready. What a beautiful surprise this was! The cabinet is FULL of beautiful pastries and desserts, and the coffee is delicious. The woman who served me at the counter rubbed me the wrong way at first - I was in crutches after breaking my ankle only a few days ago and I couldn’t figure out how to hold my table number and the crutches at the same time. After seeing me struggle all she could say was “I believe in you” without any offer to help. The rest of her exceptional team made up for it though. As we were about to leave, my mum accidentally dropped half her cake we were taking away. The baristas saw it and immediately said they would replace it on the house. They really made us feel so special, and it was this small act of kindness that really made such a lasting...
