Finally made it here for brekkie after driving past dozens of times, with many great intentions to visit over the years and Sunday morning was finally the day for it

The Vibe:

When they say it’s like Grandpa’s shed, they really mean it!!!

(Granted the beer offerings are superior to my Grandpa’s gut destroying attempts at home brew, it was also without the dust & the aroma of WD40)

The atmosphere is 11/10, even for a cruisy Sunday morning

Arriving around 9am, I missed out on a table outside in the sun as they were filled with families, couples and a few groups of riders enjoying a pre/post ride culinary refuel

The staff, beautiful humans, attentive, and welcoming of newbies and regulars alike

I love that it’s doggo friendly 🥰 with many a treat lovingly offered, the doggos seem to know it’s a sure thing on arrival and many are greeted by name

Inside is a feast for the eyes and I’m a little disappointed I didn’t take more interior pics

The menu, divine, all the yummy things I love to enjoy. Nothing appeared to be pretentious yet everything on the menu had a bit of flair & pizazz which will see me back in the very near future

I’m pledging to try it all 🤤

The atmosphere is fun, upbeat, homely

The bikes, respectfully parked and proudly displayed, cause no nusience upon arrival or departure except for the occasional loud purr or rumble a little further down the street (LoVe It!)

And so many to see both inside the venue and around the outdoor areas (would be good to see some little info signs added in future?)

For anyone who may feel intimidated rocking up, don’t be, I dined solo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience

The wonderful staff & punters are super welcoming and embracing of newbies, locals & regulars

The food:

I’m a sucker for a breakfast burrito and boy was I impressed. Perfectly made, well balanced ingredients, not too much of any one thing, or too little.

No dripping or mess running down my hands or face, even the foil peeled off without fuss. So yummy, filling & hit the spot.

I’ll be back to smash a burger for lunch sometime this week

Coffee:

Excellent

My Long Black, served in a T/a cup - exactly how I like it, was robust and almost put hair on my chest thanks to the requested third shot (thankfully this did not eventuate)

I’ll also be checking out their weekly dinner specials, sample an ale or 2 🍻

So appreciative this is just a 7 minute drive or $10 Uber from home

Some of the posters inside tell me there are many fun events ahead and I can’t wait to get back there again soon

If Iron and Resin has been on your list - get there and see for yourself

Love...

After dropping off my motorcycle to be serviced just down the road, I found myself with a couple of hours to waste. Rather than idly waiting twiddling my thumbs, I decided to wander and found Iron and Resin. My curiosity piqued, I ventured inside for a coffee, and what followed was a sensory experience worth it.

The coffee was well balanced and full flavoured. The only downside if I really had to be nit-picky was I wish there was less foam. Nonetheless, on the positive side, and the highlight—the "Burringbar" cheeseburger. It was, in a word, exceptional. The beef patty was grilled to absolute perfection, achieving that precise level of awesome where flavour and texture harmonize. The So-Cal sauce, a masterstroke, elevated the burger from mere sustenance to a memorable experience.

Onion rings are often a neglected afterthought, but not here. Iron and Resin’s execution of this humble side dish was nothing short of, "Well damn, that's good." Crispy, golden, and with just the right amount of bite, these onion rings could very well be the best I’ve encountered. A shout out to the chef and the real MVP—your skill and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

The atmosphere in the café was equally impressive. The sight of Hondas, Harley-Davidsons, and even a sidecar racer placed throughout the space added a touch of gritty elegance to the environment. It felt like stepping into your mates garage and seeing everyone's side projects.

Iron and Resin is a place I’ll undoubtedly return to, not just for the food and coffee, but for the experience—a perfect blend of taste...

Rustic, friendly and oh so yummy! Walking into the "yard" I felt like I was walking into a mates place. There were little groups all chatting away, drinking their coffees, whilst others were tucking into their, what can only be described as, amazing looking food! The staff were incredibly friendly and they made me feel like I'd been there a million times before. The menu made me take a second and third look because there was just so many great choices. I finally settled on the Breakfast Burrito with a large cap, whilst my partner settled for a Hot Chocolate and the Bacon and Egg Roll. Grabbing my rather unique table number (KTM), I found our table. The food and coffee/hot chocolate arrived in lightning fast time, which was an amazing feat with so many others there. Well, what an awesome experience. Great food, great atmosphere, awesome coffee and I'm certain this will be a regular stop on our many rides through South...
