We used to visit Charm Thai prior to new Management taking over. It used to be one of the best Thai Restaurants around, however sadly that is no longer the case. The guts and gizzards I recently turned down in Japan suddenly sounded rather appetising in comparison to the rubbish they serve here. You canāt complain about the service though because there isnāt any. I waited for an hour and twenty minutes prior to being asked what I wanted to order and even then I had to chase the waitress down only to be told she was very busy and there would be quite a wait on food. She could not provide a time frame however, stating that it was only her and her husband as chef on the busiest night of the week. I ordered takeaway as I couldnāt be bothered waiting any longer and the only thing they seemed focused on was the customers ordering takeaway anyway. Never mind about the 7 or so tables with no visible food on them. When I finally arrived home and opened the takeaway container, I found it to be completely bland, filled with frozen mushy vegetables and lacking any sort of flavour except large amounts of sugar. Since when is a hot green curry supposed to taste purely of sugar! Anyway, suffice to say I wonāt be returning and I recommend you donāt either. One star...

When you've spent a week without power after our third natural disaster per year in a row - I was so happy to reinitiate my relationship with Charm Thai. When you don't have light, water or sewerage and your fingers smell like gasoline from repairing cracked fuel lines on you generator, they kept me going and I am so grateful.
The quality of the food, the quick delivery, and the fact they do their best to feed the community while under difficult circumstances is an asset. Respect.
The delivery times are always accurate (often early) and the food is always great. Good Portion sizes. No Skimping with canned Veg. Very Consistent quality (which is hard to find up here). Reasonable prices and low...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLived in Upper Coomera 15yrs+, Cham Thai was our local and family fav since living here. We love supporting the local. We have order once takeaway since new management/ownership and it was so/so. Thought give it a good for dinner last night and was excited all day at work for authentic clean Thai foodā¦..it was not enjoyable at all. Charm Thai was good priced and I understand cost of living, everyone has to increase prices but our āusualā set us back $67.00 about $25.00 more than we use to pay at Charm Thai. The food was unappealing, the chicken was overcooked, very lacklustre overall. Really sad to say wont be supporting this local, nor be back....
