I'm mindful as I write this, that local businesses are essential for local jobs, and I really want this business to succeed for that reason.
The venue is atmospherically deficient. There is nothing "bar and grill" like about this establishment. There is no "Bar" per say either, so don't think you will be sitting at the bar etc.
From what I could discern, there is only one Steak option on the menu, which I decided to order. For two steaks and two drinks, it was $110; and it was mediocre at best. Small Steaks Lumpy mash (Cold in middle) Soggy (and cold) Vegetables Cold chips.
The service was fine, kind, pleasant. Zero issues from a manners perspective; but the "Service" and attention to detail therein was limited. For example, the gravy (on the side) had gravy dripping down the side of the gravy boat (when it could have been wiped etc). We had to ask for Steak knives....which when ordering Steak should have simply come out with the meal.
The only visible attempt to decorate was the Texas flag hung on the wall.
The creases in the un-ironed flag, beautifully articulate the simple oversights that made the experience so lack-lustre. I hope in the way forward that the owners/operators afford some attention to the aesthetic and culinary short falls here, because there is no reason why it can't do well moving forward.
REVIEW SUPPLIMENTAL: Upon reading the owner feedback below; I'm only just now finding out that they were "closed" on the night we went there. I'm now baffled as to why the staff didn't simply say, "I'm sorry, we are closed for a private function" at the moment we walked in ??? - yet even so this would have zero impact on the concerns...

If you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable night out — keep walking. This restaurant was an absolute disaster from start to finish.
First off, the design and vibe of the place are nothing short of depressing. It looks like someone raided a garage sale and slapped together whatever furniture they could find — mismatched chairs, tiny random photos awkwardly placed on the walls, and not a shred of atmosphere or character.
We waited 25 minutes just for someone to take our order, then another 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Our mains finally came out — 45 minutes later
And unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem a thing. Everything was bland, poorly cooked, and clearly not fresh. The vegetables were soggy and limp — tasted like they’d been sitting in water all day. The burgers came out with pink, undercooked meat, which is a huge red flag. And the steak was like chewing on rubber.
To top it all off, the hygiene standards are clearly in the bin. One waitress left used dishcloths and cleaning products sitting on nearby tables. Absolutely revolting.
I never write reviews, but this place deserves a warning sign out front. Save your money, your time, and your appetite. This restaurant is a complete...
Read moreUnfortunately I have to say this restaurant was a big disappointment😕 firstly the plates we were given were not clean, I had been given a second plate with my meal probably because they served my enchiladas sitting in water on my plate. My meal was served cold and soggy. We also ordered the Chimichanga not even sure what that’s meant to be but it was clearly burnt so they added a few slaps of plastic cheese. The atmosphere was interesting- very quiet no music and only 4 people in the restaurant, we waited about 45minutes for our cold food. I really hope they can find their feet and serve some delicious meals...
