Quest Goulburn — Hotel in Goulburn

Rooms are modern and spacious with comfortable beds. Reception staff were very nice however we did not have such a good experience with the after hours Manager. In our first room there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous guest. Our room was also at the end of the hallway right next to some type of hallway vent and was extremely cold. We rang reception and the after hours Manager just before 11pm as we were told reception was open till 11. We did not get a call back from the after hours manager till 1 am in which there was an argumentative discussion of confusion as to why we were feeling cold in our room. The manager also made us feel guilty that a staff member would have to come out to assist us with a room change despite the fact that it took him two hours to return our call and text messages. This apartment hotel was very clean and tidy. It had good WiFi and TV. There were good cooking facilities. The shower had plenty of hot water and was large enough for two people. The lounge was comfortable and well appointed. The bed was huge and supportive. The gym was very basic and needs some more equipment, but at least had a treadmill, static bike and rowing machine. Even though the reception and gym was scheduled to open at 7.30 am the staff did not turn up until 7.45am after a phone call to request them was made. My wife and I stayed in a 1-br apartment for 2 nights.||We found the room to be very clean and everything in good working order.||The location is great and the room was quiet (with the balcony doors closed).||The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows better than most places we have stayed over the years.||After we checked out and arrived back home I realised I had left my phone charger behind.
