Love the beautiful old fountain. Lots of nice flowers and a good walk around the park is wonderful. One thing I will need to mention is that it is not nice going into the female toilets and there is graffiti everywhere. Someone needs to report it to the council so can be cleaned up. This is vandalism in a public place and would be really nice to see all the graffiti removed. Mabe there should be a monthly inspection for the toilets to make sure everything in there is working properly such as the sink and the tap and the toilets and keep it super clean and tidy. Not sure how long the graffiti has been in the toilets for but is disgusting and maybe put some security cameras in there and should also be regular monitoring so that if someone does this again can be reported and dealt with to the police. I honestly hope in the future this helps others understand that whoever did this to the public toilets this is not ok and unnaceltable and that people start being more aware and encouraged to do the right thing and I truly hope someone will come forward and report this issue. I hope in the future that everything I said is taken seriously and into consideration to monitor the female toilets...

This photograph captures a beautiful, tranquil park setting, likely centered around a War Memorial. The statue, standing atop a dignified pedestal, is the clear focal point, surrounded by well-manicured garden beds and a low fence. The scene is dominated by the vibrant, lush green foliage of the large, mature trees that frame the memorial, providing a striking contrast to the bright blue sky dotted with soft white clouds. The intense colors suggest a clear, sunny day, making the stone of the memorial stand out beautifully. In the foreground, there are neat rows of freshly planted flowers, signifying care and respect for the grounds. Overall, the place exudes a sense of peace, history, and civic pride. It's a lovely spot for quiet contemplation and appreciation of the local heritage. Would you like me to focus on a particular element of the photo, like the memorial's design or the surrounding greenery, in a different style of...

Very clean and very well maintained grounds. Toilets (including #disabled and baby change room) were clean and tidy. Children's outdoor playground has been added to with new items over the last few years so a fair bit for kids to do. Many picnic tables or park benches scattered throughout the premises to suit anyone and everyone. The paths are wheelchair accessible. Beautiful gazebo at the front of the park- ideal for family, formal or wedding photos to be taken here. Opposite from the historic courthouse so another lovely photo opportunity for your special event. There is even a train in the kids section for them to pretend to drive or play on, we actually had some of our wedding photos taken on that train with the entire bridal party- just for something different to do lol All in all, a really cute, small city park and located halfway along the main street so only minutes to shops,...

Goulburn is an amazing town located between Canberra & Sydney. Belmore Park is in the middle of the town & within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, shopping centres, The Soldiers Club, The Workers Club & other iconic places of Goulburn. The park has something for everyone! - a great playground for children - magnificent gardens with hundreds of plants flowering - large, huge & unique trees - picnic tables & chairs - public toilets - pathway around the park… be mindful of some of the large tree roots have lifted small sections of the path ie if you have mobility issues and/or a mobility aid - the gardens & lawn are maintained immaculately

Belmore Park is named after, Somerset Richard Lowry-Coory, 4th Earl Belmore (9 April 1835- 6 April 1913). Governor of New South Wales, 13th Governor from 8 January 1868 to 21 February 1872 for 4 years and 44 days. When Governor Lord Belmore came to the City of Goulburn too opened the Railway Station , the arrive of the railway line in 1869, and opened on 27 May. The Citizens of Goulburn build the Park, for the Governor, an event commemorated by Belmore Park in the centre of the City. The Belmore Park is very nice, lovely garden around the Park. If you are there, come and see it for yourself.
