All Things Sweet Bakery — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Came for the gluten free baked goods and was not disappointed! Drove 90 mins to get to the bakery and it was so worth it. I bought a heap of gluten free items and none of them made me sick (celiac). They have a separate display and prep area for gluten free items, the staff were very knowledgeable about which items had which allergens, and the service was fantastic! They have colour coded stickers on the packed display items that indicate gluten free, dairy free, and vegan.

I bought an apple turnover (my first, so delicious), 4 lamingtons, a neenish tart, a chocolate eclair, one 8 pack of mint choc drops and one 8 pack of passionfruit drops both with flavoured shelf stable filling (these were also vegan), and 2 soft bread rolls (how were they so soft??). All of it was delicious! This celiac is very impressed and will be returning asap! Whoever makes the items knows their stuff and I could tell they put considerable care into their items. I refrigerated the eclair, the lamingtons, and the neenish tart and it didn't affect the quality. The pastry was still crisp which is nigh unheard of for gluten free pastry.

Next time I'll try their hot items (I'm very curious about the mini lasagna!) and some more cold items. They serve coffee as well which was very nice! OMG!!! Finally got to the All Things Sweet Bakery today on Ellis Street Lawnton. So many people have commented in the Coeliac Brisbane group I had to go there for their gf deliciousness!!! Staff are all friendly and most helpful!!! Thought I'd duck up the road from Virginia doing hubby's delivery. It was quite a bit further than that, 😆 but wow!!!

I couldn't help myself once I seen the gf chocolate eclairs, oh yummy. 😋 I hoed into that before I drove home so don't judge me on the bite marks plz 😆 Unfortunately the baker wasn't there until Thursday this week to make gf pies but I bought a couple of gf bacon and cheese sausage rolls instead. So tasty and the pastry is moist and yet still flakey. 😋

I also got a loaf of gf bake house bread, so soft, will make some epic sangas for sure. How long it's been since buying bread that way is longer than I can remember. And then I spied the gf cream buns and gf apple pie . Hubby will be into that when he gets home 😆 ! Have not had an apple turn over with cream in literally years! Can't wait on that one too to spoil me end of the week. Yummy!!!
