Likely my worst ever experience with a fish and chips place. It was busy, really busy, so I can understand things taking longer. But I cant understand telling a customer that it will take about 20min, then after 30min ask for another 15min... and keep going until over 1h later the customer is loudly complaining (after being told 15min earlier that her order was the next one out - but not) you decide to finally start cooking. I waited 1h15min. The worse part is the food I then got. Grilled fish didn't taste good, was overcooked and didn't look grilled. The chips which we ordered with chicken salt came with no salt at all. As of tonight bat boats is no longer my go to! 1 can't get orders correct. Rang at 6.05pm arrived 6.20pm.... still waiting for order at 6.40pm!... failed big time. 3 doesn't change oil in fryers enough when ordering fish and chips it tastes like old oil. Yuck! Every time we order fish and chips we have runny you know what the next day! 4 staff are doepy (excluding ben) and can't comprehend very well. No service like it used to be.
