Cj's Pastries — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I've been getting a caramel latte and philly cheese pie from this place for a couple weeks now. The fact I return says enough. Most of the staff are great unless its all the young girls at once then it seems everyone hates their job. Never had an issue with the pies, always great, hot and fresh. Coffee is also above par, usually you have low expectations but I doubt anyone around can match the flavours this Pastry shop can produce.

Edit: The first mess up happened today. 2 young girls. Got a cappuccino instead of a latte. Not a fan of the foam, was a lil disappointed but its not the end...

Got a peppered steak pie. The filling was just the standard chunky beef filling with pepper on the top of the pie, not inside the pie. Pretty lazy and poor considering it cost me $7.90. The pastry was dry and the filling didn’t come to the top of the inside. I don’t have a pie often, it’s a treat, so when you get a disappointing pie, it puts you off trying anywhere new again. I will stick to the pie place I know and love in Clontarf industrial estate. When they say steak and pepper pie, it really is a steak...

Absolutely shocking service & next to no stock in the pie warmers - wasted time standing in a cue to just be told no half their pie range was not available!
