CJ's Pastries — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I was at CJs Cabolture at 9:03am yesterday with my 2 sons. we ordered 3 small flat whites and were excited to try CJs freshly brewed hot coffee, upon it being delivered to our table, the lady serving us smelt quite terrible. At the time i could handle it, so i sipped my coffee only to find it was 'warm', the sign out front said hot coffee i was very disappointed in the horrible service and false advertising at this CJs place.

As the disappointment from the coffee set in, i seen my Ex-Husband (brent) walk in, this triggered me and my sons, the eldest of which lashing out and me and telling me to 'stop yelling'. i am a guest at cjs and i will yell if i please.

My 2 sons found the coffee fine, but their opinions don't matter, overall my day was ruined. this 'CJ' fella need to step...

Ordered Spinach & Feta parcel and coffee frappe (and mentioned ask to make it thicker). I just realised that I got cauliflower&broccoli parcel when I bit the filling in the parcel, when I asked the other server, she said they only had cauliflower&broccoli on that time (hopefully it’s not happened to someone who has special dietary or at least communicate first before giving whatever they want). My frappe came after 15mins wait and it’s not thick frappe, pretty much like ice late with some ice. I come here weekly for waiting before getting on bus/train. Order almost the same thing every week, but there is no consistency for frappe. I hope you have standards about how to make frappe, so no matter who makes it, it’s gonna be same, not only 1 or some people can make...

We visited CJ'S Pastrries at Big Fish Pumilicestone Rd, Upper Caboolture. We bought 2 cappuccinos, 1 steak & mushroom pie & 1 pepper steak pie. The cappuccinos could do with a bit more punch to them. The mushroom pie was a good size, filled to the rim with lots of mushroom & chunky meat filling. This mushroom pie is the best pie I have had in a long time. The peppered steak pie, if your a fan of black pepper & braised type meat that just falls apart, than this is the pie for you. The filling is delicious & that black pepper has a punch of it's own. Both these pies were in cased in a beautiful pastry that didn't fall apart, making it a messy pie to eat. These pies were so pleasurable to eat & really good.
