Sports Central Caboolture — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

We recently had our reception at your venue. All seemed to be going smoothly from our side as the bride and groom and I can not fault the food or service for the function. After the night I was then informed about an incident I cannot let pass. I was informed the elevator would be working for our function as my aunty is a paraplegic and needs a wheelchair to move. Was not until we arrived that we were informed it wasn’t working. One of my closest friends stepped in and carried my aunty up the stairs and then two other friends carried her chair. As we seemed to have found a solution to this ourselves, at the end of the night my friend was informed that he could not carry my aunty back down the stairs. I understand the safety cautions due to this but my aunty pleaded to the security manager on duty for my friend to do this instead of a stranger which was the security guard who carried her like luggage and nearly fell down the stairs himself. My aunty is truly upset and I wish I was there for this because I would not have let your staff have handled her this way. She is still a human being and the way she was treated was less than that. Unfortunately due to this experience we will not be returning to this venue and will be informing our friends of the lack of human compassion. Thank you.

If you expect good service you might want to go elsewhere and except rude old men to jump the queue when your patiently waiting to be served - what happened to first in first served I feel invisible total disrespect from the young staff member with black hair - I’m nice to everyone and I was still ignored and last time we visited this establishment we had something stolen and nothing was done to the person who stole from us - we were told the cameras couldn’t see clearly so there was nothing they could do?! I alerted staff as I seen her take our property and I waited for assistance but instead of helping us we were told to leave and she stayed - to steal is wrong but to be treated so poorly when we asked for help is disgusting - ( we finally heard back from Caboolture central only to be told we were drunk and disorderly which we weren’t - we had just ordered double jacks so if we were drunk and disorderly they wouldn’t have served us - or shouldn’t have - it was just an excuse to remove us when we pointed out the lady who stole from us - and asked staff for help ) I was waiting for an apology not a ridiculous...

If I could give zero star review I would. Never have I been anywhere with such rude and unprofessional staff in both the kitchen and bar. I was served by a young lady with glasses and dark hair behind the bar and she was so rude to my partner and I and was not listening to our order and kept getting it wrong. When correcting her she gave the worst attitude back and could clearly tell she did not want to be at work. Then when it came to the kitchen staff my partner and his dad went up to order and were given attitude by that staff and were told we were unable to get chips and salad with the parmigianas... When they went up to the second time to order they were served with different people who were still rude and didn't know how to do their job properly. While we were waiting for our orders the kitchen staff kept looking over at us and we heard on numerous occasions of them talking poorly of all of us. This was our first time coming to the venue and safe to say we will not be coming back nor will we be recommending anyone to come to this venue. Highly...
