I had a very disappointing experience at the GYG in Kippa-Ring today. I waited at the drive-through for about 10 minutes with no one answering. Frustrated, I drove up to the drive-through window, where I tried to get the attention of one of the girls there. She looked at me but then continued laughing and playing around with another employee.
I waited there for another four minutes before driving to the front door and walking in. When I approached the girl at the counter and explained that I had been waiting at the drive-through, she showed no concern. There were a lot of other vehicles behind me that needed to be served, and there were no other customers in the shop.
She took my order but clearly had no care factor for what she was doing. I've always found GYG franchises to be brilliant and run very smoothly, but sadly, this one needs a lot of attention. The employees seemed more interested in flirting with each other than taking orders. If I owned this shop, I would be greatly unimpressed with what...
Read moreThis is my nearest GYG. Every single time I am here, I always see the same 2 staff members mocking customers that are Indian and Mexican, stating that all they want is a $12 mini chicken bundle and mocking their accents LOUDLY. Both staff members are females and white, one wears a collard shirt and is big (trying not to be rude), and the other wears a casual crew shirt, she has glasses, a bit big and tall, has her hair in a braid. They have offended many customers and some customers even look at my wife because she’s indian and apologises to her for what the rude workers are saying. The two just stand around talking and hugging and flirting. Another thing is that the food portioning is very small and only fill half of the bowl, which is unfortunate considering how much you pay. There are customers waiting at the front to be served and the employees just stand around and laugh. May as well just go to the Rothwell GYG because they’re diverse and actually...
Read more"LI recently dined at Guzman Y Gomez and indulged in their Enchilada Mild Veg with Guacamole and Nacho Sundae. While the flavors of both dishes were undeniably delicious, the experience was somewhat marred by their tendency to become overly soggy.
The Enchilada Mild Veg with Guacamole boasted a rich and flavorful combination, but unfortunately, it suffered from an excess of sauces, resulting in a messy and somewhat difficult eating experience. The overwhelming sogginess made it challenging to fully enjoy the dish, despite its tasty components.
Similarly, the Nacho Sundae, with its unique blend of flavors, was a delightful treat. However, the addition of ice cream on top led to a rapid deterioration in texture, causing the nachos to become soggy rather quickly. While the taste was enjoyable, the sogginess detracted from the...
