If I could give 0* I would. The 1* is for the food. I accidentally ordered the same Meal for One twice through the Uber Eats app. from this restaurant and when I tried to cancel one of the orders online it said to ring the restaurant as they were "experiencing delays " so that's what I did. I was very rudely and abruptly informed, sorry you order 2, you pay for 2. Even though I followed the prompt to call. I honestly was in shock at how rudely and abruptly I was spoken to. The poor delivery driver could see how upset I was, and I still am. I have NEVER been treated this way or spoken to as rudely as I was today, the male whomever I spoke to on the phone was quite disgusting how he spoke to me. He needs to go back to customer service school and learn how to properly speak on the phone. I made a mistake, I called as per the prompt and I still got the double charge and order I did not want, or could really afford.
I will NEVER support this business again, and I will be passing on my experience to family and friends who also regularly buy from here. To me it would be common sense to see the mistake anyway, and ring and check order with the customer, to make sure. I was made to feel bad for ringing and trying to cancel one order, and I should not have felt that way at all. I was very intimidated, shocked and stunned to say the least. I never usually have a bad word to say, but today I am not going to take being spoken to like that. I expect an apology at the very least. Left clear instructions online for the delivery address ("dont use google maps, use whereis.com.au") and how to reach it, delivery was estimated at 30 minutes. 1.5 hours later I received my meal, after having to spend the last 45 minutes on and off the phone trying to explain to the delivery person how to get to my house (they clearly ignored my instructions which told them exactly what to do, and also couldn't understand he clear manual directions I was giving them) - and they have delivered here before without issue! The food was near cold and the family had lost their appetite. The lamb in my Pasanda had the consistency of rubber, I was chewing it for that long. We come almost every fortnight.. we won't be able to afford to come anymore.. anyone could understand a couple of dollars, but that is just absolutely ridiculous. I don't think the company has really thought about how much this will impact on your business.. noticing how quite the restaurant is Tonight.. the prices were already something that we struggled to afford.. now it's completely unaffordable. Many times we have returned even when getting a chicken korma there was way too much liquid and not enough chicken. Doing a VIP card to encourage people to return by offering a free meal every 5 meals or something might have made you more money. I think sadly that your business with this price increase is likely to go under.. going to miss my Curry Night, but can't justify an extra $14 for a meal.. very...
