Thank you Jose for today. My daughter Gabby and I were lost driving around Brendale trying to find somewhere to eat as she is pretty fussy. What an experience.. when I walked into your shop the smell hit me like a rib steak in my mouth. I started to feel really hungry and wanted everything on the menu. Gabby had the brisket burger and me the pulled pork.. man it was just heaven just drooling. Jose—aka the meat engineer—has truly mastered the craft. We sampled the brisket, ribs, and smoked sausage, and each bite was perfection. Beautifully tender meat, seasoned to absolute glory. Even the chips? Nailed. Crispy, golden, and just as addictive as the mains.

I went to Jose's Smokey BBQ Bar having heard about their brisket. I had the brisket toastie and it blew me away. The meat was soft and juicy, with melted cheese, and some smokey bbq sauce and the toast was done to perfection.

Jose was actually the guy that took my order and prepared it, and I only know because while I was eating I looked around and they have a banner of black and white with a quote from Jose and I was like, eh that's Jose that just helped me!
