Ordered through red rooster website for delivery assuming it would be by one of the red rooster delivery cars I usually see. Due to a health condition I am unable to drive and thought delivery was an awesome option.
After order was placed website stated delivery via door dash. I stopped using door dash due to constant issues with deliveries including drivers picking up food items then sitting outside the shop for 10 plus minutes before they finally deliver you a cold and disgusting meal. Once the order was placed I had no option to change it or cancel it unfortunately. If it stated earlier delivery was via door dash, I would not have ordered.
Sure enough delivery driver picked up my order and after sitting outside for an age, finally decided to move towards my house so unsurprisingly, by the time it finally reached me it was stone cold and inedible.
My food that arrived was also incorrect. I had a small fries when I ordered and paid for large. I also ordered a chicken piece, however ended up with two pathetically small and basically inedible wings (which I don't eat).
Tried leaving feedback through the contact form, including stating that i ordered through the Red rooster app specifically to avoid the use of a third party delivery service because of problems like this and the reply I got literally said to go on the door dash app and leave feedback there which I am unable to do as I do not use the door dash app. I no longer have an account and I did not order through DoorDash. Do not use their delivery option. Whoever replied to my email clearly didn't care in the slightest.

Read morePlaced an order for delivery last night through the RR app which was outsourced by RR to doordash. I received a txt saying my order had been collected for delivery and after 30 mins of being out for delivery I called the doordash driver which went unanswered,10 mins later the order was marked as delivered. Checked my property and with my neighbours no delivery in sight. Called the store and spoke with the manager whom told me I could come collect a fresh order at no extra charge but I was unable to get to the store. When I requested they delivered my order again since I didn't receive it I was told they were short staffed and had no delivery drivers, so I asked for a refund only to be told by the manager that they could not do that. I then requested them to contact the driver and he told me they aren't provided those details, when I asked if I could get a store credit for a later date I was also told no. The manager told me I could either come get a fresh order or place and order with uber eats for a small item or some sort and they could send the missing items that way. Read moreAppalling, just waited 45 minutes in the drive through for food. Finally picked up our food, the bag wasn't even warm, this should have been a sign but we assumed after waiting that long our food, some of it might have been fresh or at least warm.
Drove home (4min drive) Unpacked food and everything was cold, I'm not talking just not hot, I'm talking genuinely cold... Spent 20 minutes putting everyones meals through the airfryer at home as I felt uncomfortable with my family eating chicken that had been sitting around long enough to go cold from a health point of view.
Called the store to ask for a refund as this is the 3rd time we've been to this particular store and had a similar experience, although never quite as long a wait or food quite as cold as tonight.
Spoke to Harry who said he could not give me a refund, instead wanted me to drive back down with a screaming child in the pouring rain and wait for more food which would no doubt be cold again... I would usually ask for a credit if the food was this bad, but after tonight's experience we will not be dining here again, so asked repeatedly for a refund, however Harry said he could not refund me for my meal.
