We recently ordered the family-sized "Outback" pizza from La Madrina and wanted to share our experience. Firstly, the pizza is generously sized, making it a good choice for family or group dining. The price, at $31, may seem a bit on the higher side, but it's justified by the ample portions and the liberal amount of toppings they use. It's always great to see a pizza that doesn't skimp on the good stuff!
The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and well-distributed, providing a delightful mix in every bite. However, there was one aspect that kept the pizza from being perfect - the scarcity of pizza sauce. The almost absent sauce was noticeable and slightly impacted the overall taste and moisture of the pizza.
In summary, if you're in Victoria Point and craving a hearty, topping-rich pizza, La Madrina's "Outback" is definitely worth trying. Just a small suggestion for the restaurant - a bit more sauce could elevate this already fantastic pizza to...

Jan 2021 Well a year I praised la madrina pizza because they were great. All through the covid winter and spring I continued to enjoy their expensive but quality pizzas. The last two occasions not so much. Previous pizzas arrived as if they transported in a mixer. I rang them sent photographs of their product and we all agreed they were rubbish and should not have happened. Sorry was what I got. Tonight same order and this time there was less everything in the toppings and they were clumped together, the source was nearly not there and it was 30 minutes late. In honesty I have had better from the chain store pizzas. Thatās it for me 4 bad expensive pizzas in row is enough.
On further review it seems a year ago the best pizzas in town, now there seems to a turn around in the product. Warning bells should be ringing for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI havenāt been here for at least a year or more and the pizzas have always been so yummy in the past. I looked at the pizza menu and the size of a small pizza being around 20cm in diameter is now $16-19+ and I thought that was a little expensive no matter how good the pizza. So I thought I would get pasta. I knew last time I had the chicken āSugoā pasta it was dry and bland so I ordered the mushroom pasta with add-on chicken. It cost $18.95 for the pasta + $2.50 for the chicken. It was disgusting had no flavour and had two slithers of chicken no bigger than my thumbnail. I also ordered a small garlic bread pizza style $7.90 that had a weird flavour that tasted like spew! Not in a Parmesan good way more like an off butter like way!!! I am so disappointed that for my $29+ I could not even eat it. I will definitely not be going back...
