RASHAYS - Strathpine — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I've given this restaurant a go twice now and unfortunately I'm still not won over. The first time was to try it as it had just opened. I ordered two burgers, one for myself and one for my partner. After waiting for over 30 minutes for them to be done for take away we left with them. (30+ minutes seemed a bit too long to wait for two burgers to take away, this wasn't a very busy day for them, the staff just appeared very frazzled and the kitchen wasn't sounding very happy. Maybe it's because they've only been open for a few weeks so ok, fair enough. We waited and politely took our order.) after going somewhere quiet we ate and we both quickly agreed the burgers (two separate styles of burgers) were extremely bland and underwhelming especially considering their price. It was disappointing as the burgers and chips were both over $19 each and with the added chicken wings our order came to over $50. I will say the BBQ chicken wings were absolutely delicious though. The second time I ate there was today because a store in the shopping centre were handing out gift cards so I took my young son to try something else on their menu and give it another shot. Unfortunately I came across with the same issue. Extremely bland chicken, tough, over cooked resulting in very dark crumbs and overly processed (even for a chicken schnitzel which is what I tired today, different to my previous meal) the mushroom sauce also had an odd after taste to it. My son appeared to enjoy his lasagne however so that was good. It appears to be the chicken that is consistently bland so far. I did try to politely and respectfully make my issue known to passing staff but wasn't successful as they were very busy.

Some positives to note, the venue is lovely. Fresh and modern, the lights particularly are very striking and exciting for young children to look up at. The young vibrant staff are extremely friendly and mostly attentive. The free refills is a great incentive and the sizes of the glasses they are served in is huge which is nice as it's lasts you the...

I've been going to Rashays regularly since it opened and it's always been a nice restaurant, but the recent experience I had changed my opinion entirely. It's now the single best restaurant in Strathpine in my opinion. The reason is because they recently updated their menu with new wagyu steak options. This particular steak I had is hands down the best steak I've EVER had. To think that such an amazing meal can be found in little old Strathpine fills me with joy. The steak melted in my mouth, cooked to absolute perfection and tasted wonderful. A completely flawless steak. I had the chips and mash (because I'm rotund, get over it). The mash was the perfect consistency, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside i.e. perfect chips. I've never had a meal that so completely satisfied me from beginning to end. I shan't mention cost, for a meal so delightful, cost isn't a factor (It was $70). I can't complain about a single aspect of the experience. The service was prompt, friendly and professional as always. The entire experience from beginning to end was sublime. I can happily report I will be going to this wonderful restaurant for many more years to come and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

p.s. The literal only downside to this particular restaurant is the cage of screaming children in the center of the restaurant (I'd recommend the outside tables for a more pleasant experience). This is unfortunately due to it being a 'family' restaurant, so keep it in mind when attending. (There really should be some kind of soundproofing or something to contain the noise, but alas,...

I recently dined in with friends of mine and had the pleasure of being served by the wonderful waitress, Kiarraa. Her exceptional service elevated the entire dining experience.

Kiarraa was not only attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, helping us navigate through the diverse selection of dishes. Her recommendations were spot-on and showcased her genuine passion for the restaurant's cuisine.

For our main course, I opted for the grilled chicken breast with Avo, while we had a diverse dishes we focused on the steaks 🥩. All dishes were expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with delectable ingredients, and rich taste.

Throughout the meal, Kiarraa ensured that we do need anything, and she checked in on us at just the right moments, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our conversation.

Dessert was a sweet finale to our meal, and Kiarraa's dessert recommendations did not disappoint. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests, and her attention to detail truly made our evening memorable.

In addition to the outstanding food, Kiarraa's impeccable service was a highlight of our visit to Rashyas Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine warmth left a lasting impression. We left the restaurant not only with satisfied appetites but also with a newfound appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Kiarraa.
