Spokes Cafe — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

My first experience at Spokes was all round positive, especially with the dude at the front desk as we back and forth Star Wars and Startrek bantered. Good form. Tbh, on approach, the location and frontage was argh "what 90's granny cafe is this?" Than BAM, straight through the front doors into millenial heaven. Front glass full of cakes and little squishy vanilla slices with raspberries in them and great dècore. Wait.. just wait.. the true test is the coffee and the opening hours. Opens til 4pm, CHECK! Iced Soy Latte, "no iced cream or cream thx or it would be an iced coffee" yes more banter about how some people have no idea. Yep coffee is strong and naturally sweet. Exemplary coffee in Samford Village, tucked away in the shopping precinct with a really nice courtyard to relax and enjoy a cheeky breakfast and coffee. Staff are hard working, eager to make sure you're comfortable and happy with you food and coffee choices. My husbands food allergies can be tricky, however Spokes delivered on all fronts and beautifully prepared. Not many cafe's in Brisbane are as accommodating, Spokes are above and beyond. What a fantastic treasure to find on our visit to have brunch in Samford Village! Perched up on the high side of the street air conditioned and outside tables! Nice neat menu wit eggs Benny for us and it was delectable! The coffee was Toby’s Estate, and it was perfectly served nice and hot! Cold water and nice clean furniture with very cute half umbrellas.
