John Scott Park — Attraction in Greater Brisbane

This particular park is located in the township of Samford. A lot of work has been put into this park, it has all the modern amenities onsite for large family gatherings. The local council is currently building brand new toilets which will take the place of portable toilets that are currently onsite. John Scott Park is in a prime location of the village of Samford. The Samford Hotel is located in the main street, you also have an assortment of cafe's & other eateries. Parking is available for everyone including disabling parking disabling parking as required. A really nice park with heavily shaded playground (lots of trees), compact bmx bike track, perimeter footpath (great for bikes too), at least two BBQ shelters, and 5 toilets (one really large wheelchair accessible cubicle with baby change table, and other cubicles unisex ambulant). Thicker block even had two knee operated hand wash basins outside with ample soap! Next to the Samford district historical museum. Across the road from the Long Yard larder cafe and Harry Potter themed Owlery cafe (previously the Flying Nun) and Harry Potter store of requirement. Plenty of on street parking on Station Street. Beautiful compact park that somehow packs in a sealed BMX course, some grass for littlies to kick a ball, a basketball court, a lovely playground with gorgeous trees providing dappled light and picnic areas and public, free, gas BBQs.
