I would actually prefer to give Starbucks Caboolture no stars. My husband and I went last Friday. We were looking in the cake cabinets when we noticed a fly sitting on a cake. Then suddenly we realised the cabinet was full of flies, we counted about 8. The cabinet next to it was fly free so we got coffee and cake (from the other cabinet). After we had ordered, my husband told the young lady serving us that it is not a good look to have a cabinet full of flies. She did not act surprised at all, just agreed with my husband stating 'no it's not a good look'. We were in Starbucks for about 20 minutes and the young lady made no attempt to do anything about the flies, she didn't seem to mention it to any of the other staff who continued to take food out of the cabinet to give to people in the drive through. We would never go back. Very poor hygiene practices. I have been to Starbucks at Deception Bay many times and have never had an experience like this there. Read moreI regularly visit multiple Brisbane and Gold Coast locations, and usually, everything is great - super-friendly staff, fast service, and clean store/bathrooms. This store was different - the bathrooms were not clean, and one was out of toilet paper. The staff were friendly enough, but they looked like they'd rather be not serving us all. And they made the drinks in an odd order - instead of fulfilling each order fully as they went, they made one drink from one order, another from another and back and forth, causing the longest wait we've ever had. There were 4 customers in store and 1 in the drive thru that I saw, but with 4 staff on duty that shouldn't have all been an issue - I've seen store with less staff out the front work more efficiently and be more friendly before. Read moreHonestly, I only go to this one because it’s a lot closer than the Rothwell store. Staff are often really really rude and snappy. It seems to be so hard to get the right drink. One time I got given a Coffee Frappuccino without coffee????? Like how does that happen??? Always feels like I’m hassling them and ruining their day when I have to make adjustments to drinks to suit my dietary restrictions.

Recently I’ve started ordering a Venti Iced Matcha Latte, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have gotten it it’s been full of like 3 inches of frothy stuff. So a venti, ends up being a much much smaller size because only just over half of the cup is actually drinkable.
