The Coffee Club - Central Lakes — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Visited today with family from Melbourne for brunch. No friendly greeting from any staff member. Gave order and was informed that there was a 15min wait. After 30mins, I went in to ask on our meals. The shift manager was dismissive towards me and approached the kitch staff, who said "yes, I told them it was a 15min wait". When I mentioned it is now 30min, there was a "who cares" attitude from staff and management. I was informed it will be another 10min!!! When a member from my group asked why the delay, the shift manager said they were busy. Looking around the restaurant, there was 6 tables being used. We then noticed bags of uber eats orders leaving the restaurant. It seems that uber eats and take-away, takes preference over in house dinning!! We were left a little underwhelmed with this visit. It was the first Coffee Club, that we were not greeted at. It wasn't busy, but the gentleman that walked right past us at the door, said nothing. We took a seat and waited for him to take our order, which never happened, so I asked him as he went by and he said to go to the counter to order. Ok, I fully understand that. Staff were a mix of pleasant, to , I dont really want to be here and the food was average. If I compared it to my local CC, it would be a 1/10. The young couple that were seated eating when we arrived had a baby with them in a high chair. When they left, there was a large amount of food that the baby had pushed off the high chair that was walked through byb2 staff members and nobody made the effort to clean the area up. Very...

This Coffee Club is an absolute gem! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. After a long morning and a frustrating delivery experience earlier, I decided to come in person and I’m so glad I did.

The manager I spoke to had the kindest heart and genuinely cared about making things right. She made my order with care and even added a few extra treats for my kids, which completely turned our day around. Her kindness, professionalism, and warmth are a true reflection of what great customer service should be.
