Absolutely incredible customer service. The manager knows my face and when I walk in she prepares my food without asking. The rest of the staff are incredibly kind and always have a smile on their faces. The value of the food itself when price is taken into account is a tad steep but this is justified in the experience of dining here. Also, to whoever see this please note that lunchtime and dinnertime are quite busy and you may need to wait a while. Update: They added an electronic ordering system that allows you to cut down on human interaction even more. They also have server robots that bring the food out and ones that take dirty dishes. 10 stars out of 5!!! Photos show 6pm on a Saturday

This restaurant is just amazing! I’ve been a very regular customer here, and I know the food quality is great and highly consistent, i.e. I know everytime I visit, I will have very good sushi and Udon. The best part is that they have promotions all the time. We just got a lunch box and 2 x mugs for free! Their food is good for adults and little ones with different diet. I’m vegetarian and never run out of options at Sushi Train Capalaba. Ps: I found out recently they have restaurants in Sydney too, so it must be doing well. Hope you enjoy coming to this restaurant as much as we do. If you come on weekend evening, wait time can be up to 30mins, but worth it!

It's been a while since I've been to this sushi train franchise. But they've really stepped things up. Firstly they've never use to serve wagyu. And super glad they finally do. The sushi servings are pretty generous. The Agedashi tofu was really big (alot bigger that other places I've been). The only downside is its alot more expensive than other sushi trains I've been to. If their prices weren't that expensive it would have been good.

Terrible experience third time around. First time they said they don’t have sweet potato fries but suddenly came to the table and said they found some so were able to serve us some. Second time around I called to ask explicitly whether they have sweet potato fries, the lady on the phone reassured me they have them, she even asked someone else to confirm they have them. Once we arrived - surprise - they said they don’t have them. We bought some chippies for our toddler from next door and still came to dine in sushi. Third time around - we checked whether they have sweet potato fries, they said no, we went next door to get some for our toddler and on return they said they now we have a policy for no outside food. We are at the moment sitting outside with our 3 kids, waiting on our toddler to finish his chippies so the rest of our family can go back in and have dinner. This will be our last visit to this particular sushi train, obviously. I wonder whether we can bring water bottles for our kids… what if my toddler requires specialised food? Very kid unfriendly and...

I was excited by the idea that there was finally a mass transit system devised for entree/tapas sized food.

Historically, sushi has been relegated to living in neighborhoods that were outside the reach of public transport. Their local councils and governments don't their best to keep their small bight-sized goodness in isolation. However the promise of a reason could bring new opportunities for work and leisure to the sushi community.

However, on entering the location, there was not a train station platform to be seen....

Instead I seemed to have wandered into an airport lounge where everyone was waiting for their hand luggage, on a long conveyer. Each price of carry-on contained small morsels of deliciousness.

I had not traveled in a plane to get there, but I confessed I took great delight in stealing the luggage of other passengers, who are no doubt still waiting for their designer prawn roll handbag to appear on...

I'm not normally one to do bad reviews but after today I have to say something.

I do know that I was there during lunch service but trying to get take away and told that it'll only be 15 to 20 minutes but when it went on 30 minutes later nothing had been started as they had lost the order.

Was told that they would get straight onto it and got told to wait back outside. An hour passed and they brought out half of the order and my drinks and still had to wait.

Mind you the whole time they had been taking people in to seat constantly to eat while I'm sitting there getting stared at by the workers there. Also had to get my own utensils and ask for some to be repackaged as they were sideways and falling out of the box they were in.

Absolutely ridiculous. Sitting outside in the heat waiting for food that if I didn't ask about might never...
