You enter the shop feeling like you've just entered a home. When greeted, I ask what's recommended being my first time getting into Polynesian food. I selected 4 of the dishes (as you have a number of choices that are put on a plate). which turned out to be amazing. During my order, the taro with coconut cream had sparked my interest, in which they served me a piece to try without charge. Thankful to takeaway the leftovers as the generosity in portion size is extraordinary. I rate.

This food was fantastic Polynesian tucker. Loved the way the taro was cooked and the portion size was very Polynesian, as generous as the people are. The only downside is that the raw fish is only available on certain days - not the day I went. Guess I'll be back for more! The young lady who was serving was a wonderful, polite woman who just makes you feel welcomed in the shop. A touch of the islands in Brissy.

The food seriously lacks freshness and very unappetizing in my opinion. The meat has lost all moisture by the time it's served and gross. I feel like the food has probably been sitting in the heating tray for many hours, or possibly days by the time is served. On the plus side, the service is very friendly and kind and the price is very low for the quantity of food.

First time trying Polynesian cuisine : TLDR = it’s good! Randomly found this place on Google maps on our road trip from Sydney to Noosa. We got excited about the food pics, and stopped at 2pm Friday on our way up- they were sold out! We stopped again Sunday 1pm, and the place was pumping - large platters coming fresh out the kitchen and getting snapped up straight away. They’d already sold out of sweet buns. We got a sample of everything as we weren’t sure if we’d like it. We tried the lamb curry, pumpkin curry, fried rice, roast lamb & chicken. Wish we’d ordered more coz they were all delish! We also tried Palusami (Polynesian coconut custard wrapped in taro leaves) - I loved it, my other half wasn’t a fan. We also tried baked taro, and taro steamed in coconut milk. Both are very mild but I like the texture, and now feel confident knowing what to do with the taro from the grocery store. We also tried plantain steamed in coconut milk - again mild, not sweet, but left us feeling satisfied full, not heavy. Service was so friendly! Make sure to check out their Facebook page to see...

Two weeks ago i found out where to buy taro leaves from, (thought I'd try make my own palusami) the Fiji Shop in Strathpine so i drove 20mins to buy some. Last week I did the same and as I was walking back to my car with my 4yr old granddaughter I noticed a few Islanders walking into the shop next door. I looked up to see the name of the place and it said Tia's Polynesian food or something like that. Decided to check it out.... Long story short, $65 later, I've found my go to place for great tasting Samoan food. Chop suey was delish, taro, palusami, Turkey tail, mamoe etc all on point. Never tried pigs head before so decided to give it a go as well. Damnn! Tia, see you...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding experience from start to finish! From the delicious food to the friendly customer service, everything was top-notch. There was plenty of seating and convenient parking, making the visit even more enjoyable.

We ordered the chop suey, lamb and pumpkin, chicken curry, and turkey tails, every dish was served hot, fresh, tender, and full of flavour. You can tell they put real care into their cooking.

It was our first time visiting, and we were very impressed. Absolutely worth the drive to the north side, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t be...
