Cocoa & Bean — Restaurant in Griffith City Council

I've been at Cocoa & Bean 4 times now. Everytime some mistake happened. Either they forgot my order or brought me the wrong drinks and food. It's bad customer service. No one feels responsible and they're just pointing the finger at each other. There is no communication between the staff members. I love the food and the restaurant itself. It's a great location, it looks comfortable and there is a whole outdoor area. It's the perfect place to have breakfast during spring and summer. Unfortunately the service is not good enough which sucks as everything else is great. Today I got my money back as the staff made several mistakes and completely forgot about my food which was unfortunately cold when I got it. At least I got the money back which I'm grateful for. I won't go back to Cocoa & Bean. Maybe one day once I know the service got better but until then, I will go and have breakfast...

Such a disappointing place. The food is bad, the salmon rosti didnt have any taste and was so dry, same for the waffle. I cant even speak about what they called a iced “matcha” because it barely has matcha in it, it is simply a glass of milk with ice for almost $8, it is so white and tasteless. The service was terrible these girls are unexperienced and not nice, they serve plates not at the same time so I had to watch my boyfriend finishing his sandwich before even getting my plate. They give you meals without cutlery, it doesnt make sense. Last but not least, I was horrified when I saw cockroaches running on the floor. We understand why this place is for sale. I’ve been in town over the Christmas New Year week. I didn’t find this place until the 3rd day because I was searching using the restaurant button and not the coffee button on Maps. It was only 100m down the road from the motel. It would be one of the fancier places I have seen in town. I was feeling a bit underdressed wearing a t shirt, shorts and thong with morning hair while the rest of the customers were in stylish casual like they were in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney but the staff were lovely with no judgement.
