I grabbed some late lunch during the week, ordered the polenta dish from a very friendly young women. When the dish came out, it lacked any flavour and was literally just polenta spread over a dry slice of bread, accompanied by a few slices of eggplant and other vegetables. No seasoning or sauce provided. After questioning why it was so bland, I was told that the blue cheese sauce that is usually served with the dish had past its use by date. If I had known this I wouldn't have ordered it. I asked for something, anything that would add flavour to the dish. They then brought out the blue cheese dressing, not sure if it was off or not. When paying, I was told by a man that 'only the fussy customers ordered the polenta'. Unfortunately, the service, quality of the food, and atmosphere of the resturant all left with the previous owners. Staff seem extremely disorganised and inattentive. People ordering takeaway were not greeted and their orders were not taken until someone asked the barista for service. Floor service waitress seems like he had no idea where or what he was supposed to be doing. My partner and I sat down and ordered via the barcode for dine in. Waited 30 minutes for a chai latte that tasted like we were drinking a melted marshmallow not to mention it was served in a takeaway cup not a mug. After 50 minutes we asked to check where our food was and it had been forgotten. We got the food as takeaway as we now didn’t have enough time to sit and eat it. The eggs were solid and the whole meal looked like it had been sitting on a plate for too long and slapped in a box. Couldn’t even eat it. Major disappointment...

Not a great experience I’d have to say. We ordered breakfast and coffee, and asked for coffees before meal. 2 cappuccinos arrived, but unfortunately one was supposed to be a latte. Waiter stood there holding the 2 cappuccinos and said, well I’ll have to go and check, making us feel it was our fault. Meals then arrived straightaway, even before the 2nd coffee, which was returned, without further comment or apology. Not great service. You would also expect that a $20 smashed avo breaky would come with 2 bits of bread, wouldn’t you ? It was nice, just could have made it so much nicer by being just a little...
