Always a pleasant experience, my favourite place to eat, food comes out quick and always maintains the same quality . I love the vast amount of different areas to sit in, all with different vibes. The staff are amazing, I haven't had a bad experience once.
The pokies have a good selection and isn't crammed in, so you can feel comfortable playing. The drink service is great, and I always appreciate my soy latte (great coffee) and raspberry and lemonade.
There is a outdoor area with pokies, which is heated or cooled and also is a smoking area. Which is great for smokers or non smokers as it's well designed and ventilated. The staff keep the machines clean and not sticky and clean ash trays etc. The staff always keep an eye on patrons acting up a little etc and ask them to be respectful to other patrons. If I am seated alone with a rowdy group taking up machines and not playing, or using interesting language, the staff will check if I am comfortable and will kick them off machines not being played. And keep checking in on me.
I would always recommend the leagues club for family's, birthdays, pensioners and young people, for the food is affordable, tasty and quick and it's a nice place for a drink before heading off at closing time to another venue.
Only complaints are the car park, being no where near big enough and When it's raining if your in the overflow parking you can get wet feet. And the front entrance to the club is so incredibly slippery when wet. They always have the yellow caution signs, but I would suggest to paint the affected floor with a non slip coating.
Otherwise apart from the two small complaints, I...
Read moreWhere to begin…the woman with the cropped hair at the front desk was terribly rude to myself and my partner. Upon entering we were asked to sign-in which we started to do as she came around from behind her desk where she was sat and huffed and puffed in annoyance snatching our identification cards from us and taking over the signing-in process as though we weren’t capable of doing so, even though we do this in every leagues, exies, RSL and the likes…ran her mouth passing some snide remarks and that was it. Of course we wished her a great day. You know…kill them with kindness. The worst had yet to come, and it did, when the food got to us…I mean we weren’t expecting any high standard meal whatsoever, however the flavourless garbage we were served was not edible. Grilled salmon no taste or flavour of anything however we knew it’s salmon cause it was pink and looked like a salmon fillet (it’s what we ordered from the menu if nothing else). Steamed vegetables not worthy of feeding it to (my neighbours) worm farm, and pieces of potatoes as anaemic as a starving child in ex-soviet Russia. $64 (just food) later, safe to say, utterly disgusted and will...
Read moreReturning for the 1st time in quite a while after praising the quality of the meals there, the wife and I we were sadly very disappointed. The meals use to be absolutely amazing but today the fish and chips were well and truly overcooked. Looked like they had been left in the fryer and forgotten about; my wife struggled to peel the hard batter off to try salvage any of the fish, and couldnt eat the chips at all. The steak was chewy and overcooked, and the chips the same - way too over cooked.. which I forced myself to eat after spending close to $50 on the steak alone. The best thing out of the entire meal would have to be the free dinner roll.. I can only hope that whatevers change in the past 12 months gets reversed, and the quality and dish selection return to the greatness they once were! On the positive side the staffs customer service; honesty, kindness and professionalism was as great as its...
