We were seated and then it took nearly 25 minutes until someone came to our table they didn't even offer water for our table, the order was messed up in that we asked and paid for extra brie on a sandwich as well as what was already in the meal and they just swapped it instead of adding extra. I had a bowl of pasta and had to go looking for the staff to ask for a spoon i was waiting at the kitchen for a few minutes staff kept walking past not asking if I needed anything, I finally had to ask someone on their lunch break for a spoon because the other staff didn't seem to care even though I had made eye contact and was clearly a customer waiting patiently for someone and looking at all the staff walking by.

Read moreWe dined Thursday 5/9, although the food and staff were lovely, one of our group is a Coeliac. We did tell the staff he was Coeliac and we were guaranteed the pizza he ordered was gluten free, but unfortunately, he was struck down seriously ill with pains, vomiting and diarrhoea from 10pm to 4 am. Coeliac is a serious condition for some people, not just a current fad.☹️☹️☹️ This morning we visited Il Corso, to let them know. They couldn't have been more apologetic and explained they take all the precautions required for gluten-free options. So, thank you Il Corso for your concern and hopefully you can detect what may have been the issue, if the seafood mix has extender in it, that does have gluten. Everybody, eight in total, the other seven were extremely happy with...
Read moreExcellent cafe with lovely, efficient staff. FOOD: The menu has a great range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free meals at reasonable to slightly expensive price points. You could easily get brekky for around $12 or so. ACCESSIBILITY: Walker, pram and wheelchair accessible throughout, although the toilets may not be and you can bring your dog/s and eat outside. Ample street parking available and they open earlier than many of the other cafes in the area in the town centre. Premises were very clean and the general feel is warm and modern with outdoor seating available and air con inside. OVERALL: Would recommend Tip: Would recommend if you're waiting a while to go up to them to ask, they are very friendly and...
