Little Italy Griffith — Restaurant in Griffith City Council

The food is just as bad as the customer service! Rubbish! I ordered 2 cottaletta rolls and waited 40 mins for them. Presentation was messy as if they’d been thrown together. On Turkish bread!!! It’s such an insult, in a town where Italian bread is still baked fresh, it’s a money saving ploy to use anything other than local fresh Italian bread! Lettuce wilted, and they didn’t use bolognaise or a ragout !? They used Napolitana sauce !!!? I called to complain and asked what they could do to fix it and the owner refused to do anything. Disappointed, I said, at least take on the criticism and speak with your kitchen staff. He said he would continue to do business as he pleases and the people of Griffith are happy with the quality. I grew up in Griffith and did my apprenticeship there. I hope this establishment, is not an indicator of the food quality Griffith is now accepting, if it is, what a shame!

If you support Griffith, good food or have any common decency when it comes to customer service, stay far far away...

Food was good. Coffee was great! Nice outside seating. Ordered a coffee and breakfast bruschetta inside. Waitress came by with the wrong order twice. Took half an hour for my long black and I had to walk to the counter to remind her. My neighbors received coffee they didn’t order. Waitress went inside and returned with “their” coffee in take away cups which they left on the table. 40 minutes after I ordered waitress came with two meals even though I only ordered one. She took the wrong dish inside and 2 minutes later another waitress came out with another dish for me. Had to go to the counter to get cutlery. Inside customers were complaining about not getting their food or half of the group had already eaten before getting the complete order. Slow to clean up dishes from table. Wasn’t really busy but staff seemed completely confused but service...

I went there after work tired and hungry...got there early and was the only one there as the kitchen opened.

I ordered the pumpkin pasta with chilli...what arrived though was disappointing as the plate had a few pumpkin pieces on it, a little spinach and gluggy pasta...odd for the first order of the night.

The service did not help as it was cold and uncaring...I had to ask for more cheese multiple times as I was just trying to make the pasta a bit nicer to eat...and I got charged extra for each time I asked for more cheese.

Maybe an off night but I was only in town for a few days...so happy I tried other places first as there are some really lovely places to eat in Griffith….but I will be giving this one a...
