Had a wonderful night at the Gunnedah Chinese Restaurant, The atmosphere was delightful and the premises clean and inviting. I had the combination entree, 2 dim sims, 2 prawn toast and 2 spring rolls, well the spring rolls were just amazing, there was a little something in them that just left you salivating for more. For the main meal I had the garlic combination. The smell as it arrived caused my mouth to start watering, and the food was melt in your mouth exhilarating. On the side I had the shanty special, consisting of sweet and sour pork special fried rice with chicken and almond. Now this was a pleasurable difference giving the additional dishes creating a mini smorgasbord of choices. This combination really topped off the meal, mixing the side dishes in with the rice really enhanced and improved the special fried rice. The evening was closed with dessert, I ordered the banana fritter, icecream and caramel sauce, the battered banana cooked to perfection, the icecream, caramel and sweet light batter was a palate pleaser. Our Entrees were the Comination Plate (2 Dim Sims, 2 Prawn Toast and 2 Spring Rolls) was divine setting the scene for the arrival of our Main dishes, we had the Mongolian Lamb, Garlic Combination along with a Shanty Special, ( Sweet & Sour Pork, Special Fried Rice and Chicken & Almond). The dishes were absolutely deliciously satisfying. We rounded of the evening with a sweet delightful dessert, We chose the Banana Fritter with Icecream topped off with Caramel Sauce and icecream with Caramel Topping. Not a fan of this restaurant personally. Went to order on our travels through and thought I'd phone it up so I didn't have to wait. Unfortunately I phone the wrong restaurant I actually wanted to order from.

First time trying this place but wouldn't purchase again sorry. Im sure others enjoy but I prefer the place...
