Disclaimer: the photos of the food we took was an afterthought and we couldn’t wait to eat it.

We have been walking past this amazing place every morning waiting so patiently for them to open. Then to hear they quietly opened today got us super excited. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed very genuinely and promptly shown to our table. The team were so attentive, answering our questions with the menu. Simple things like the tap water was cold and filtered, was given to us immediately. The FF Draught beer was highly rated by my picky husband, cold, perfect colour, generous size, taste great and only $10 all day. I had a bottle of the Rose, not sweet, not super dry, free of preservatives and no aftertaste, and from WA for only $38 for the whole bottle, great value.

For starters we had the jalapeño poppers and it was to die for, super crispy, generous cream cheese, with a full jalapeño. My only criticism is it needed a little bit more of a bite (heat).

For mains we had the porter house steak, with salad, chips and half rack ribs. This was shared and it was plenty for us. The steak was pretty cooked medium rare, so juicy and a nice char on the outside. The ribs were thick, so tender with a mouth watering house made bourbon cola bbq sauce and pomegranate sprinkled on top for a fresh crunch. The salad was fresh with different colored tomatoes and the chips were so moorish, and the magic dust was…magical.

The chef came out to check with us our thoughts on the food, so genuinely wanting feedback in these early days. We felt so special and blessed to be there, told him our thoughts and gave him some ideas. Talking to chef was such a wonderful experience, we felt so special, especially hearing all the exciting things on the horizon.

Overall, amazing food, great service, perfectly selected drinks (besides cider, sounds like a work in progress [run a muk is a good WA cider]), we will definitely be back.

As locals, we support small business with great customer service and quality products, and this is certainly it.

Thank you for welcoming us so warmly. Sending you lots of positive energy for a...

I decided to have dinner here because of the high 4.9 rating, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The staff were very friendly and polite, but the food did not meet expectations.

I ordered the 250g rump steak, half rack of pork ribs, pork belly, and garlic bread.

Garlic bread ($10): The waiter asked if we wanted cheese on top, and we said yes, assuming it was included. However, later we noticed there was an extra charge in very small print on the menu — easy to miss if you’re not looking carefully.

Pork belly: The skin was soft instead of crispy and had no flavour. Even with the sauce provided, it still didn’t taste good. The salad that came with it had a strange flavour and no dressing or salt.

Rump steak: It was completely unsalted, and the chips on the side were soft, not crispy.

Pork ribs: They tasted like pre-cooked supermarket ribs (similar to what you get at Coles or Woolworths). It seemed like they were boiled and then fried, which took away all the flavour — only the sauce could be tasted.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the food quality, taste, and portion sizes. The staff were great, but the food definitely needs improvement. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant until the food...

Saw the glowing reviews and decided to give it a go—and I’m glad we did.

The pork belly and rump steak were beautifully cooked, packed with flavour, and perfectly portioned. But honestly? It was the sides that really surprised us. The broccoli and pineapple salad was fresh and zesty, the Paris mash was creamy and indulgent, and the charred asparagus added just the right touch of smokiness.

We couldn’t resist adding the beef ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce. The pomegranate seeds added a burst of sweetness that totally worked.

To top it all off, we had the Biscoff cheesecake. My wife isn’t even a big fan of Biscoff—and she was genuinely impressed. That says everything.

Great food, thoughtful flavours, and a few delightful surprises along the way. Definitely...

Went to Fork and Flavours for an early dinner and was greeted straight away and taken to our table. The place is nice and spacious, and food came out quickly. We ordered the squid tentacles, seafood linguini and a full rack of pork ribs. The squid was crunchy on the outside with a nice chewy bite inside – perfect with the sauce and a squeeze of lemon. The kids really enjoyed the seafood linguini, and the portion was generous. The pork ribs were a delight, glazed with lots of sauce and the meat just fell off the bone. The sides were great too: chargrilled corn, creamy coleslaw and hot chips that came with this tasty “magic dust” seasoning. Friendly service and overall we really enjoyed our meal and time there.
