I purchased some white nectarines from Golden Choice Perth Fresh Market on April 8, 2025. Unfortunately, when I went to eat them the next day (April 9) as a snack, I found that the fruit was completely rotten on the inside, even though the outside looked perfectly fresh and nice. You can clearly see this in the photos I’ve attached.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had this kind of issue, I had a similar experience before with Nashi pears. I brought them back to the store, but they told me that without a receipt, they couldn’t do anything. Unfortunately, I had declined the receipt at the time of purchase, assuming it wouldn’t be necessary.

I tried calling the store to let them know, but the number listed was incorrect or not in service, which made it even more frustrating.

They really need to check the quality of their products more carefully. People are paying premium prices for fresh produce, and it’s disappointing to receive fruit that’s inedible on the inside.

I’m not sure if the store will ever read this review, but I hope others who experience the same issue will also speak up. That way, we don’t feel like we’re being taken advantage of, and maybe the quality control...

Same as subiaco branch, many choices and value price, however staffs were really unfriendly and lazy,(if your face looks like Chinese, although you are Korean,Japanese , Malaysia or Vietnam) not only once or twice, I usually been there because some products cannot buy other shop.

I have been many Asian shops at Perth, such as VHT , Emma , MCQ ,Yum Cha restaurant and butcher shop since 2009. I never feeling like Golden choices the worse staffs, no only one staff unfriendly. Other shop staffs sometime only one staff rudely or expressionless . Golden choices was many times, I thought over 90%

I have been Vianney and Salvos opportunity shop, they were volunteers, still friendly and nice, none of discrimination.

Never go again, although spend $1 , I’d spent it on other business ever donate it.
