We came in yesterday for some takeaway coffee. While waiting for our coffee I came back to add on a cake to our order and was wondering if Audrey serves ice-cream for ice-coffee so I asked the Asian staff if they do have ice-cream for any chance. What I got was “We are far away from that”. I knew what he means, but I was a bit shock how ARROGANT he was, so I ask him what did he just said, and again, he told me “we are not Starbuck, we dont put cream, ice-cream nothing like that in the coffee, we do ice latte, just simple with ice and coffee shots”. Wow!!!
Sorry to mention asian, but we’re asian too, so maybe that’s why he doesnt give a sh! of whatever he say 🤣 And I assume because over eastern shore Audrey is kind of “the only place” that serve specialty coffee so he considers himself as top of the world.
Have heard about the arrogant attitude of ACES that I’m finally can experience myself, cant wait to see all the coffee experts walking around town and looking down to people that know nothing about coffee ^^
And wont recommend for people who looking for specialty coffee while in Hobart, unless you just needed some...
Read moreAudrey’s isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a lifestyle. The coffee is so good, I literally named my dog after it. Now, every time I call his name, I’m either summoning my dachshund or craving a flat white. It’s a confusing but delicious existence.
The coffee here is consistently excellent—smooth, rich, and made with the kind of care that suggests the baristas have a personal vendetta against bad espresso. I dip my croissants in my coffee like a Parisian (or just someone who refuses to let a single crumb go to waste), and Audrey’s never fails me. The balance of crispy, buttery pastry and perfectly brewed coffee is an elite experience.
The vibe is spot-on—warm, welcoming, and the kind of place where the staff remember your order but don’t judge you for coming in twice a day. If you haven’t been, go. And if you see a dachshund named Audrey hanging around, just know he’s part of the...
