Absolutely appalled after ordering 10 meals thru Uber Eats and waiting 90 minutes for the order to turn up to find that the store just didn't bother to cook 5 of the 6 kids meals. Called the store and got told the issue was that there weren't any drivers in the area. I'm sorry, but the fact that there was a driver that delivered the food would suggest it wasn't the driver..... Then called the store and they owned up to the fact that they just didn't bother cooking 5 meals and suggested that we could pick the meals up (ordered thru uber eats for a bloody reason), or we could just go thru uber eats for a refund. Next time an order comes thru, just cook the order and deliver it! Not hard!!!!! The attitude from the store was appalling. Now have 5 kids waiting for lunch after having waited 2 hours, and the store took no ownership. Pathetic. This is a popular location for some of my elderly relatives and one of those took me here for lunch on 4 July 2022. The venue looked good, spacious and bright. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I had a classic cheeseburger with chips. The burger was great - juicy and tasty and very filling (I was unable to complete my meal). The relative had a toasted tortilla from the flat grill and they also enjoyed their meal. Prices seemed fine - burger price was comparable to a good cheeseburger in Melbourne (and I would argue this one from Coffee Club was better than some I've had in Melbourne for a similar price point). Incompetent staff. Ordered eggs benedict with additional bacon. Turned up to the table with no bacon and all we got was sorry. The table behind us they brought out their order and it was meant to be a big breakfast but they brought out a vegetarian order. Again it was "sorry we misheard you". I use to frequent here all the time but I'm assuming there has been a change of owners or business structure. You use to be able to order smashed avo, now you literally get an avocado cut in half put on toast, how lazy is that!!! Won't be back.
